After a long day at Yellowstone my wife was starving and looking for the nearest place to get some food. We just stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. My two kids loved the fact that the resort has a playground and a couple of horses to watch roaming the property. The service was excellent. We... More

This place is terrible. I would not recommend it. Stains on carpet, loud floors, smelly, dirty gross bathrooms, no air conditioning, no fan, no ventilation. TV remote wouldn't work. We were traveling with friends and their toilet wouldn't flush. It is just bad

The title about sums it up in terms of my priorities for accommodations. The Hatchett is very close to both The Grand Tetons National Park and Yosemite. The room had a charming log-cabin feel. The bathroom was a good size, nice and clean and the beds were comfy. There was a a nice selection on the menu for both breakfast... More

This resort had beautiful, rustic rooms with newly redone cabins. We had a total of 5 people staying and everyone was able to sleep comfortably as the cabins had a room with a queen and a separate living quarters with a 'top bunk' - a bed under that doubled as a couch, and another bed under that. The entire resort... More

We were part of a tour group (16 people) who were booked here for one night. Accommodations consist of log cabins, which were surprisingly nice. Beds were comfortable and the cabin interiors were clean. I wasn't freaked out by the mouse trap in the corner. These are log cabins in the country, folks. Dinner was surprisingly good. I had Alaska... More

This is a rather rustic but enjoyable location outside Teton and nearby Yellowstone. I stayed here for one night in mid May. As you drive up, this looks a little iffy. The office looked closed at 6pm, but was open. The guy working the office a little gruff, but he got me checked into a sort of log cabin (two... More

Well the main thing the hatchet has going for itself is location. It is outside one of the best national parks. The rooms are log walls and roofs. Small but why would you do anything but shower and sleep in the room. They were clean and bedding was newish. The food on the grounds was very. The breakfast was filling.... More

We stayed here on our way to Yellowstone with a recommendation from a dear friend in the area. We were welcomed with friendly staff and a good home cooked delicious meal. The cabin was cozy, clean and a cabin charm. 2 Queen beds were very comfortable and the shower was modern and updated. The grounds were very peaceful. Even the... More

I made a reservation at this resort and cancelled it 12 HOURS later. The resort charged me $17.00 to cancel. I could understand if I had cancelled the reservation shortly before arriving, but I made and cancelled my reservation in February for an August reservation. I called the resort twice to discuss but their ultimate answer was "too bad".

Spent one night at the Hatchett on our way to Yellowstone. Our room was very cozy with lots of cabin charm. The best part was a great shower that was tiled and nice thick towels. Two queen beds were very comfy. On the flip side . . . Room does not include a refridge or microwave, which was important to... More
