Spent one night at the Hatchett on our way to Yellowstone. Our room was very cozy with lots of cabin charm. The best part was a great shower that was tiled and nice thick towels. Two queen beds were very comfy. On the flip side . . . Room does not include a refridge or microwave, which was important to... More

My husband and I chose to stay here because of it's excellent proximity to Grand Teton National Park. We were greeted very warmly on arrival. They have a great gift shop with lots of excellent souvenirs to take home for friend and family. The room we stayed in, and the resort in general, had a nice secluded feel with beautiful... More

If you're looking for a charmy hotel close to NP, this is your choice! Nice wooden made rooms, good heaters, nice restaurant, good and helpful staff and impresive surroundings. At last but not least, reasonable prices for food and room. So 100% recomendable!

I booked this hotel on line for 4 days. The room was never cleaned in four days. I put trash in the trash can on Sunday and the same trash was there when I checked out on Thur. I never had clean towels and I told the management and their solution was to just had me towels. My bathroom was... More

Dear Glenda, I’m sorry that you had such an unhappy experience at our historic property in late September/early October. Sadly I wasn’t given the opportunity to fix your concerns nor refund your stay with us. Clearly we didn’t provide you with the service you expected from your perception. Our policy at the Hatchet for guests who choose to bring their... More

My wife and I live in Jackson and recently enjoyed a wonderful meal, sunset and service while eating at the Hatchet's Whetstone. We met a group of folks their for an evening meal and socializing. Ron and Gary (chef's) along with their staff provided a wonderful meal. The apetizers and main course were wonderful. The brisket was over the top... More

The kids and I took our last "Fall Trip" this month and decided to stay the night at The Hatchet Resort. We were in Suite 30 which is a cozy, log cabin style room that had plenty of space for the 4 of us. The sitting room had a TV, refrigerator and microwave along with a day bed that had... More

I booked our one night stay directly with the hotel. Our room was charged and paid for at the time of booking. The rooms have a log cabin exterior and interior appearance. The room (#22) is clean and the decor is rustic and simple. One really small night table is between the two queen beds. There is a flat screen... More

I had reserved a single in the hostel rooms but checked out a regular room upon arrival. It had nice log cabin decor but was tiny and not worth the extra $50 since it looked like I would have the bathroom to myself that night in the hostel section above the lobby/gift shop. I was told there was a phone... More

The room was comfortable enough, I guess, but there wasn't an air conditioner in our room, and for the price we paid (over $150.00 per night)...one would think an a/c would be an amenity that is included. Fortunately, the days we stayed in Moran were cool; we simply opened up the windows in the room (but, the back window wouldn't... More

We were very disappointed with our experience. Everything is so over-priced. The manager, Pat, can be very rude and doesn't care about resolving issues. Our room (#20) was obviously originally built as a storage unit that they threw a bed in. It has no front window, no parking spot, and barely room to get around the bed to the bathroom.... More
