We made reservations at Flagg ranch after reviewing the website. We arrived at Flagg Ranch and found the front desk attendants quite helpful. Catherine (the young lady at the front desk) was pleasant and hospitable. She recommended that we talk to the bartender about any animals we want to see. Our cabin was nice, a little difficult to get to,... more

We made reservations for this "resort" via the National Park Service (NPS) Reservations and paid extra for the beautiful scenic view to be afforded at Flagg Ranch Resort. Well after looking at our cabin room, we found there was no scenic view. Their idea of a scenic view is pine trees behind your cabin. We requested a different room &... more

We stayed in one of the cabins at the Flagg Ranch, which on the outside looks very rustic, but inside is like a nice, normal hotel room. The location of the ranch is the best part, just 2 miles south of Yellowstone's south gate -- which is great, considering Jackson is the next real lodging location, and that is 60-90... more

Flagg Ranch is overpriced and the staff is treated poorly by the owner. I worked there a summer after graduating college and was shocked by what I saw. We were always on edge, fearing being fired. I knew several kids--many of whom were foreign, working the summer in the U.S.--whom were fired, given little or no reason nor warning. They... more

There aren't a lot of options in this area so I guess the place doesn't get a lot of competition. If you are camping, be sure to walk down by the cabins out to the river for a beautiful sunset spot, but don't forget bug spray! more

My husband and I stayed at the Flagg Ranch campground for one week this past July (14-20). The restrooms were dirty, the shower stalls were cracked at the shower pan, when someone would flush the toilet you would be scalded with hot water. The shower curtains didn't cover the entire opening, water on the floor, you get the picture. If... more

Flagg ranch is ran by irresponsible collegee kids, who really don't care about meeting their guests needs. The restrooms were filthy, sinks were cracking and paint was peeling off the frame on the mirrors. It was NASTY!!! The attendent gave us a camp site that was way to small for our tent, there was no grass, no privacy. We drove... more

This place is awful. It is in no way a "resort" (what a joke!) It is is NO way near anything - certainly not Yellowstone or anything you'd want to see in the Tetons. The campgrounds are dusty, ugly, wide open, and all very close to the highway. The noise from the highway and visitors allowed to come in as... more

This hotel bills itself as a resort, it is nothing of the sort. Overpriced with an indifferent staff and not close to any points of interest in Yellowstone or the Tetons. It is at least a 45 minute drive to Jenny Lake and probably 90 minutes to Old Faithful. The restaurant on site closes early and opens late. At least... more

For starters, their online reservation site is NOT ENCRYPTED. If you're going to book a stay here call them directly. I informed them of this problem but they seemed to be aware of it and didn't really care. This is a great place if you want to get away from it all. When I say "it all" I mean restaurants,... more
