We stayed at Signal Mountain campsite for a week and wanted to stay longer but had to head home. It was close to a store, a lodge and a restaurant that served great food! We had bears every day which all people took seriously. Ranger program was great for the whole family. This place had close access to all of... More

The location is great and the campground has the potential to have some amazing views. It's situated right on Jackson Lake, so you can literally walk from your campground down to the lake, rent kayaks and spend the day on the water. If you're camping in a tent (like we were) the outlet associated with your site is bound to... More

Tent camped here with my 2 BFFs in early September. Do NOT be under the impression that because it's late in the year you will not have any issues getting a camping place in the Tetons or Yellowstone. You will be WRONG! Follow everyone's advice and get to the campground as early as possible to reserve a place. We FINALLY... More

We had no idea how busy the campgrounds in the Tetons would be and got the 2nd last spot that our 30' motor home would fit into. The sites themselves tend to be small and not very level, but it is quiet and there are some great views to be had. The lack of showers were no issue for us,... More

We drove in from Yellowstone to Grand Tetons on the Friday morning after Labor Day, thinking we'd have no problem finding a site in the park. We were wrong! Luckily, we grabbed one of the last tent sites in Signal Mountain, which was full by 1 pm. We later drove through Jenny Lake and Gros Ventre campgrounds, and we concluded... More

We love the Tetons and this campground was a wonderful experience right in the park. Get there by 11 in the summer to have a choice about your site. We saw large deer right in a campsite. The sites at the upper part of the main loop have great views of the mountains.

We stayed here one night before a long backpacking trip. We were surprised to see that there were no tent pads left and no showers. We had to pay for a electric hookup site ($45). They did say there were showers being built though. BUT, the view and location were amazing. If we walked to the beach we could see... More

Pros: - Close to amenities (restaurants, gas, convenience store). - Centrally located - Old Faithful is a 1 hr drive away. - Camp site was fine - Fire pit, bear locker, gravel tent pad all functional. - Bathrooms are clean. Cons: - Electric sites ($45/night) take up most of Loop 1, which has views of the lake. - Sites are... More

Yes, Signal Mountain is well located if you aren't lucky to grab a Jenny Lake spot. But the company which runs the campground, "Forever Resorts," really needs to do some site maintenance. We were fortunate to arrive at a time when many spots were open, so had a chance to survey several. The tent areas are uneven and appear NOT... More

We arrived a day earlier than expected for Yellowstone & decided to do Grand Teton for a day. Arrived at 9am, no reservations and turned up at Signal Mountain campground. Plenty of spaces left, we took site 45, perfect size for our 25 foot RV and level with bbq & picnic table plus tent pad if required. Bathrooms were a... More
