You could not ask for a better location. Convenient to all roads and trails in Teton. Be sure to ask for a upper "Lake Front Retreat". Each has a balcony only feet from Jackson Lake. We stayed in a retreat building suite which is the only building on the water and with a clear view of the water and mountains.. The view was "the best" in the Tetons. The room was vanilla. I visited the Tetons off-season, and this was the only affordable in-park lodge still open. It was a basic motel room; clean, warm, and very satisfactory, with a good restaurant within a few minutes walk. No television or luxurious decor - but who needs that when you are a 30-second walk from the lake?? more

The cabin (1-2 person) we stayed in was rustic, basic and small but the heating worked well and they're in a great location. It was cute with a little deck to sit out on.
