Five adults and one 8 year old stayed for two nights in one of their upper story "motel like" units fronting the lake. If all you are interested in is the view of the mountains, read no further as the view is terrific. If you want the rest of the story, read on. We paid around $300 per night and... more

We stayed in a retreat building suite which is the only building on the water and with a clear view of the water and mountains.. The view was "the best" in the Tetons. The room was vanilla. Housekeeping showed up each day after 3, just when we were napping. The two restarants were above average. This Lodge is pricey but... more

I visited the Tetons off-season, and this was the only affordable in-park lodge still open. It was a basic motel room; clean, warm, and very satisfactory, with a good restaurant within a few minutes walk. No television or luxurious decor - but who needs that when you are a 30-second walk from the lake?? more

I stayed at a two-room cabin for one night in early Sept. It was the only room available when I made a reservation which cost $186. The staff was very friendly. However, the room was just too rustic for us. And it was not clean, not well maintained, and the hotel ground was just an old run down place, totally... more

The cabin (1-2 person) we stayed in was rustic, basic and small but the heating worked well and they're in a great location. It was cute with a little deck to sit out on. In the evening we walked (couple of mins) to the lake to watch sunset then ate in the Trapper Grill which was superb. Great choice and... more

We stayed at the Signal Mountain Lodge after coming out of Yellowstone. The lodge is very well located In Grand Teton NP and a real pleasure after the indifferent service and poor food in Yellowstone. We should have cut Yellowstone short and stayed longer in Teton. We ate at both the Trapper Grill and the Peaks restaurants and enjoyed them... more

The cabins at Signal Mountain Lodge are "of a certain vintage," some rustic, some `70s-ish. This is the second year in a row we've stayed, once in a rustic cabin (sitting room & bedroom) and once in a country cabin (large single room with sitting area and fireplace). The staff in the lodging registration building is very accommodating, there's wireless... more

This was a perfect place to stay while visiting the Grand Tetons; we stayed in a one room cabin with a king bed, full bathroom and mini-kitchen: refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Our cabin overlooked the lake and parking was easy. We enjoyed eating an early dinner at the Trapper Inn before driving to see some wildlife. more
