We did not stay in the lodge, but would like to some time. We took the pm Float Trip out of here and it was very scenic and enjoyable. We had a VERY good guide, I think his name was Greg(?) He was from Chicago, but loves the Jackson Hole area and knew all about the geography, history, biology, etc.... more

We were in a rustic cabin, but it was right on the lake and it was clean and cozy. It is the best lodging I have stayed in on park grounds (Lake Yellowstone Inn and Gran Village). What a beautiful location..... When the brochure says rustic - you should believe it. It was not run down as some of the... more

You could not ask for a better location. Convenient to all roads and trails in Teton. Be sure to ask for a upper "Lake Front Retreat". Each has a balcony only feet from Jackson Lake. Also, be sure to visit the new Rockefeller Retreat near Moose Junction. All of the enclosed shots are fro the balcony of our room! more

We had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at Signal Mountain Lodge in their Lake Front Retreat. The view was perfect just like on their website. The room was spacious with a large living area and kitchen. We also enjoyed the Snake River Float trip from the lodge. We took the early trip and felt we were in a world... more

Five adults and one 8 year old stayed for two nights in one of their upper story "motel like" units fronting the lake. If all you are interested in is the view of the mountains, read no further as the view is terrific. If you want the rest of the story, read on. We paid around $300 per night and... more

We stayed in a retreat building suite which is the only building on the water and with a clear view of the water and mountains.. The view was "the best" in the Tetons. The room was vanilla. Housekeeping showed up each day after 3, just when we were napping. The two restarants were above average. This Lodge is pricey but... more

I visited the Tetons off-season, and this was the only affordable in-park lodge still open. It was a basic motel room; clean, warm, and very satisfactory, with a good restaurant within a few minutes walk. No television or luxurious decor - but who needs that when you are a 30-second walk from the lake?? more

I stayed at a two-room cabin for one night in early Sept. It was the only room available when I made a reservation which cost $186. The staff was very friendly. However, the room was just too rustic for us. And it was not clean, not well maintained, and the hotel ground was just an old run down place, totally... more

The cabin (1-2 person) we stayed in was rustic, basic and small but the heating worked well and they're in a great location. It was cute with a little deck to sit out on. In the evening we walked (couple of mins) to the lake to watch sunset then ate in the Trapper Grill which was superb. Great choice and... more
