Great location when National Park lodgings is not available. Nice cabins and a restaurant on site, including a gas station. Right on the water so views are great. By being right inside the park, you don't need to drive in from Jackson Hole. We used to shoot sunrise at either Oxbow Bend or Jackson Lake dam before breakfast.

Thank you for your review of our lodge. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your visit. I wanted to clarify that we are an authorized concessioner of Grand Teton National Park and are located right in the middle of Grand Teton National Park. We typically open a bit earlier and close a bit later than most of the... More

These cabins are awesome! Stayed here in early July in a 1 room cabin with 2 double beds when returning back from Yellowstone NP. This was our second visit to Signal Mountain Lodge. We (4 adults) had also stayed here in a 2 room cabin for a night when we were driving up to Yellowstone NP. I think this single... More

First of all, this location is awesome. It's at Jackson lake, in front of a beautiful snow covered mountain (when we went in May). You can also see Grand Teton mountain. Simply superb. Very beautiful place. We stayed in Cabin. That was good, beds were comfortable, room heater, refrigerator were available. Bathroom were nice & clean, hot/cold water available always.... More

If we ever go back to GTNP, I'd pick to stay here again. Get a cabin on the water and you have a deck on the back side looking out on the water. Unfortunately it was pouring rain the night we were there so we didn't get to take advantage of the back deck. This is a rustic cabin with... More

The lodge is rustic rather than luxurious, which is fine by us. The most expensive cabins have unrestricted views across the lake to the snow-capped Tetons, but you get even better views from the dining rooms, so we used the motel-style "Country Rooms", spent the days touring, and got our fill of the unrestricted views at mealtimes.

This was our first stop in our Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks trip. We (4 adults) left SLC in the morning and arrived at Signal Mountain Lodge an hour before sunset after driving leisurely though scenic route 89. We stayed in cabin 110 which was a 2 room cabin. Both rooms had a double bed each. The cabin was... More

Reserve now, you will not regret it! I got one of the western rooms, and I hid the fact that there was no TV or WIfi in the rooms from the family until we were there. :). At first it was quite upsetting but by day 2 through day 5 we didn't miss it at all. Sleeping in the dead... More

We stayed in a cabin with fireplace and kitchenette...quite sufficient as you are there for what is outside the cabin! We were across the street from the lake and mountains... my only complaint is the view is completely blocked by the two storied buildings built obviously after the cabins. If not for these buildings we could sit outside with great... More

This is the closest hotel in GTNP. Although we did not have the view of the lake, we were able to walk and view it. The bathroom is so small . Heater was not working and we were cold the whole night. What surprised us was the presence of the deer. It so close to our cabin for a long... More

Our July 2014 visit to Grand Teton National Park marked our second stay at Signal Mountain Lodge. We discovered SML during our 2011 trip and knew it would be our base for all future visits to the park. In fact for our 2014 visit, we stayed at Signal Mountain Lodge twice; four nights at the beginning of the trip and... More
