When I say old school I mean no tv, no a.c. and limited wifi. The rooms are very basic, no luxury. Some have fridges , one of ours did, one didn't. The luxury is natural scenery and activities. We swam in cold lake, canoed, hiked. Enjoyed beauty of this area. Felt like we were in another era. This place is... More

Wish we had booked earlier to get closer to the water but we still had some view. We had 2 bedroom cabin with shared bath - loved the porch for the kids. Centrally and conveniently located with 2 restaurants and store just steps away. Would definitely stay here again but would book earlier and pay extra to get lakeside.

We went to signal mountain lodge in mid May. Beware, the employees are there to work a minimum until they can leave and go into Jackson and get drunk. The attendants cleaning your room will be taking a "smoke break" and will skip cleaning the toilets. You can find a much better accommodation elsewhere.

You need to pay extra for a cabin a facing the water but its well worth it. Two restaurant choices steps away with dining outside. Boat rentals available and small grocery store right here. The best view ever.

We had a party of four and stayed in one of the two bedroom cabins. Reserve very early since our cabin didn't give us a view of the mountains. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay. The bedding offered is a little different and may not suit everyone's needs though. Each bedroom gets a twin bed and a double... More

We stayed in a rustic cabin at Signal Mountain for 4 nights. They were clean, had a comfy bed, and even had a microwave and small refrigerator. They lodge is right on the Jackson Lake with a stunning view of the Grand Tetons. It is centrally located to most activities. Only drawback was the lack of WiFi in cabins. It... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a "country room" on one side of a rustic one- story cabin. It was very nice inside with fridge, microwave, and good king bed. Well appointed with comfortable furnishings and it looked recently updated. Nice chairs to sit outside on a porch area; however, in early July the mosquitoes prevented us from... More

We stayed in a lakefront cabin (163). Great interiors, recently redone. Wonderful patio to enjoy a glass of wine and weather the ever changing sky. Great spot to go to Jenny Lake and hike, into Jackson and river float. Tavem and bar staff were very friendly, and service was nice. Would go back in a second!

We only were able to spend one night at Signal Mountain Lodge, but I wish we could have stayed longer! We stayed in a lower lakefront cabin, and it was beautifully updated. Comfy beds, updated bathrooms and kitchenette. The cabin above us where our friends stayed was significantly warmer than ours, so I would suggest a lower lake cabin if... More

We stayed two nights in one of the newer Premier Western rooms as the Lakefront Retreat view rooms were all taken. These rooms might not have a direct view of the Tetons, but every view is pretty incredible around there. The bed, furnishings and decor of the room were good. A fair sized front porch with two director's chairs and... More

Thank you for your recent review. I was sorry to hear about the disappointments you experienced during your stay with us, but am glad that overall you enjoyed your visit to Grand Teton National Park. The issue with the shower in your room type has been resolved with a soft, roll-over barrier, but I apologize that we did not have... More
