4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013 NEW

Although this is an older style motel it has been remodeled and refurbished. It was surprisingly quiet but we were there when few people were staying there and before the season opened. Rooms have screen doors for air flow which might be noisy if people are going in and out a lot. The room was fairly large and very clean.... More

Thank you for taking the time to write about our property. We hope you will come again when we have our 1890 Chuck Wagon in the courtyard and serve omelets to order, which does give more space for breakfast with the outside seating. We will be serving omelets from Memorial Day until Labor Day. We would love to see you... More

After driving for 15 hours, we were glad to find the Best Western Pioneer in Lusk. It's like stepping back in time when travelers stayed in roadside motels. The atmosphere was family friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. They even provided complimentary bicycles if you wanted to explore. It was a wonderful way to stretch our legs that... This place was stop 2 on our two thousand mile trek. What a sweet town full of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. It started with the check in and kept getting better. They recommended places to eat and drink, they were just so helpful. We had a dog and they are pet friendly. We were given... More

This is THE place to stay in Lusk. The owners and staff go to great lengths to make all the guests feel welcome. I have stayed here for multiple times for a week at a time during October hunting season. Good location, great breakfast, reasonable prices, squeaky clean rooms, and friendly service.

We booked this thinking that it would be an okay place to overnight on the way to Devil's Tower. It far exceeded our expectations and turned out to be a highlight of our trip. We loved the breakfast we had - cowboy omelets made to order in the yard. The rooms are comfy and spacious, the place is clean and... More

Nice quiet motel. Some rooms are a little small for the size bed (queen) not much room to move around if you are staying for a few days. Wish they had more sports channels available. The deep mattress pads make the rest very pleasant and peaceful. Thought that due to age of motel the rooms would be noisier but I... More
