I first stayed at Little America some 50 years ago as a kid and on various other times through the years. It was always a fun retreat in the middle of no where- a place where our family could gas up, sleep and eat then be on our way. No more. Now- two of the three needs can still be... More

I knew this hotel had been around for a while as I have stopped at Little America for many years- but usually just slept in my truck whenever I was there for the night. I decided to get a room for my co-driver and I last night. Very impressive! I grew up in the 1970s and while the room was... More

We visited here on our way back to Colorado. We have stopped here many times in the past BUT NOT for a few years! We came from Jackson Hole, Wyo. and were looking forward to an Easter Dinner! Little did we know...they have taken out the restaurant and have ONLY a Little Snack Bar, which I didn't think looked appetizing... More

Been visiting here since I was kid. Stayed with my wife last Saturday night. Very disappointed to learn that their nice gift shop, coffee shop, and restaurant have been permanently closed. Now they have a "junk" gift shop, a "grill", and a "deli." Not the same. We've always stayed here for the total "Little America" experience. After traveling all day,... More

This was always a great place to stay, specially since you didn't have to leave for anything. They have now made the very dumb decision to close the cafe that's been open for over 60 years. They believe having a concession type stand makes up for it, but it's not even close. If you like to rock hound and be... More

After staying here for over 20 years, between family visits, we can't believe the restaurant has been done away with! After our 10 hour car ride, it's been such an oasis of comfort food, and a good night's rest. Being demoted to the Travel Center, with the huge influx of folk's just grabbing a hurried bite, is not very inviting... More

This is a great place to stop... Unfortunately there is not a Bar or Restaurant. They do have a deli. Rooms are very clean. Rooms are old school with a touch of modern. Love haveing a balcony and a very large glass door that opens to the pool.

We stayed in room 142 at Little America. The room was clean, spacious and as well appointed with furniture out of the 1950's and 1960's as one would want. The LA has free wiFi, cable TV, onsite dining and a gift shop. The room had a better brand of in room single serve coffee. I found the bed to be... More

I know, I know just another hotel, right? Wrong, it is a pleasure. After being in the car all day, to actually come to an oasis on the Western edge has,, well, just a hometown feeling. I kid you not when I say it's a town. There is good eats, gifts, places to walk your dog it's just great. Clean,... More

The Little America is a great hotel right off of I-80. It is decent size hotel with a friendly staff. We ate at the restaurant and had an outstanding meal. This hotel is worth the stop and has clean rooms with very comfy beds and great sheets. The only down side was the view of the freeway was not great.
