This was one of the nicest campsites we've ever visited. Get site number 9, a walk-in site, over a small bridge, secluded, beside the Popo Agie river. There's a wonderful nature trail in the campground, Sinks Canyon is just a mile down the road. Ask the ranger at the Sinks Canyon Visitor Center to direct you to the nearby swimming hole that locals visit, complete with a natural "waterslide".Lander is conveniently located for supplies, but bring firewood--we looked all over town and could find none. more
