I checked into the Pronghorn, and didn't go to my room right away (went to the restaurant). When I tried to open the door to the room I had rented it wouldn't open. Went to desk & got key fixed. I opened the door to the room and found someone else's luggage in there. Went back to desk. Was informed... more

We only stayed here on our journey back to Denver Airport . The room was fine and spacious but Nevada who checked us in was quite rude, barely said a word and just gave us our key. I had to ask about the breakfast times and she made no mention about any of the facilities (I think there was a... more

We stayed here for a wedding, opening hunting weekend, with a dog. Inconsistencies in whether they had rooms or not. Call the hotel directly, the toll free number says no dogs. When we went to our room after checking in the bed was unmade, there were towels on the ground, someone had been there. When we presented this to the... more

We've had 2 satisfactory stays at the Best Western in Lander, but they were booked this year. Having eyeballed the Pronghorn Inn, which looks nice enough from the outside, we thought we'd give it a try. From the none-too-happy-to-see-you check in experience, to the rough around the edges condition of the room, to the non-working wi-fi we felt underwhelmed. (After... more

Stayed here many times over the years and, like always, our most recent stay was great. The rooms are clean, smell great, have newish furnishings and every time I've stayed there, the room has had a fridge and a microwave. The free breakfast is no great shakes, but better than any other hotel's in town. Front desk help: Max was... more

We were really pleased with our one-night stay at the Pronghorn Lodge in Lander, WY, on the way to Yellowstone. We had booked our stay through AARP, so we got a good discount. We expected the room to be average, but were surprised at how nice the room was! It was good sized as any major hotel and had a... more

Stayed in this hotel for a night in July, the high season. The motel is attractive on the outside and has a north woods decor. Our room, a queen suite, was quite nice with living room, kitchen area and separate bedroom. One issue was that the lights over the sink really lit up the bedroom, so a person trying to... more

This motel was probable the number one motel in Lander before the new Best Western arrived. This motel located at the east end of main street is quite large with a upper and lower section. We stayed in room 42 in the lower section. Parking was right in front of your room. Room was very large even with two queen... more

I've stayed here several times over the years and I like this hotel. The Best Western is across the street and perhaps more modern, but the Pronghorn is a nice little stay in Lander and the rooms were always clean. I never once had a problem with the staff, so hopefully the experience of other posters has been remedied. You... more
