There are not many choices of places to stay in Lander, so we chose the BW as it got the better reviews. Our room was comfortable and clean, but didn't warrant the rate, particularly as they don't provide breakfast. There is a restaurant attached, however, which serves a decent breakfast The hotel staff was very nice. The restaurant server acted... more

We stayed here for 1 night on our way to the Grand Tetons. The location was good, very close to restaurants and gas stations. The town of Lander is very nice. The hotel has a rustic look on the outside that we liked. The rooms were nice and clean, very basic, nothing out of the ordinary. There was a big... more

The property is nice-looking, a Western-rustic lodge with a couple of buildings including a restaurant. For quiet, ask that you are not assigned to the building where receptions/conventions are held (which also houses the laundry.) The room is nice and a bit larger than other two double-bed rooms I've stayed at. I asked for extra bedding for our camp cot... more

Booked in here via tourist info in the town. We had a very good room everything was clean and quiet, and the room had all you would need. We ate in the town, there are many places to choose from, and went back to the same place for breakfast. All in all it was a very good experience. more

Many folks state this is the nicest hotel in Lander. No doubt it's nice, but have they stayed at every Lander hotel to compare? In fact, I think it takes a backseat to the Pronghorn Lodge, which we stayed at later that same week. This hotel is the most expensive in town, yet it offers no free breakfast these days,... more

I stayed at the Best Western Inn at Lander for business recently. I arrived rather late and quickly realized a biker convention was being hosted at the hotel. I immediately thought I was in for an interesting night... I was checked in quickly and given a room with a door leading to the pool area. Needless to say, it was... more

As a business traveler, this hotel was the worst experience I have ever had. They wanted to charge a deposit of $150 on top of the room rate. I told the clerk that I did not care to be charged a deposit, she finally relented and attempted to swipe two different credit cards and told me that they were rejected.... more

As you are likely aware, Lander is not the largest of towns and, as such, there is a lack of fantastic hotels. The Best Western is definitely the best choice for a stay in Lander - the rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff is pleasant. One concern for some, however, is that there is only staircase access to... more

This is a relatively new Best Western that has grown to be a substantial meeting and conference destination. It was our destination after a half day at Grand Teton heading east. We were delighted with the accomodations. more

A large and very appealing motel at a main highway intersection at the very east end of town. Our room #302 was downstairs in the east building. Parking on west side of building was paved and good size, east side was large but course gravel. The room was a very good size with two queen beds. The room with the... more
