This is a rustic hotel but is super nice for what it is. Very welcoming to rock hounds. The rooms are clean, have a refrigerator and microwave, great water pressure, and plenty of space, though no television in the room. Surroundings feel very safe. This is a great value in a place to stay. I stayed at the Green Mountain Motel (It is not called JC Motel any longer.) during a bicycle trip and found it delightful. While still a work in progress, this little motel made our rock hound trip possible so we could range from Jeffrey City without having to haul our camper. The air conditioning was much appreciated, the lighting was great, linens clean, mattresses firm, bathroom fixtures clean. We are bicycling cross country through small town USA. As you could imagine, our accommodations have varied considerably from superb to not so much.
