After checking into the the Jackson Lake Lodge Cottage and not being the least bit happy with the shabby, 70's hotel feel, we quickly escaped to town and to the Alpine Hotel. On a quiet street in easy walking distance to town, the inn is a great find, with awesome breakfasts and friendly staff.

My wife stayed at the Alpine House for 2 nights during our 2 weeks roadtrip through the US. It was the first time we took a B&B : however : the service was better than in some "hotels". We got a short tour of facilities at check in. The room was a standard 2 queens with fireplace : not too... More

We stayed for one night May 24, 2005. A wonderful place with a terrific sunny backyard for relaxing before checking in and then again early morning---coffee and the most delish (still warm) muffin prior to the real breakfast inside (cherry vanilla pancakes and southwest burrito---it is so nice and rare to get a choice!) The street (house building) construction was... More

We stayed in a "standard queen" room at the Alpine House 5/23-5/26. Overall the inn is good, good location. We enjoyed the hot tub one evening (it does sit out to the side on the front lawn, pretty much in full view of anyone walking down the street) and was going to use the suana; however, we couldn't get it... We stayed at the Alpine House for a long weekend in early March and had a fantastic time. This well-run B&B was cozy and pleasant, complete with overstuffed chairs, freshly baked cookies, and an abundance of sunlight. The staff was incredibly accommodating and eager to assist with any tourist inquiry, and the location is perfect, just a quick walk to... More

This place is excellent. A very comfortable place to call home while visiting Jackson. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are spotless and we had the best nights sleep. This is a five-star place, right downtown, but amazingly quiet.

Love it! Love it! Love it! I will stay at The Alpine House everytime I visit Jackson Hole. Great location, beautiful rooms, delicious breakfasts, heated bathroom floors, squeaky clean rooms, warm atmosphere, super friendly staff, easy taxi ride from airport. Walk to all of the cute shops, restaurants, bus stop, movies, etc. A group of 10 of us stayed at... More
