We stayed here 2 nights during our Yellowstone/Grand Tetons tour. The river site was beautiful and the kids had fun wading in the river. The current was too fast for swimming. We enjoyed listening to the river at night and waking to the sound of birds in the morning. The staff members were friendly and courteous, busy driving their carts... More

Just genuinely nice people, and very helpful and accommodating and it's a very pretty place. Not a place for swimming on the Snake. If the kids want to swim this is not the place. The current is very swift. Great if you are doing a Dave Hansen raft trip. They pick you up right there!

We stayed here for two nights when on a Yellowstone/Grand Teton road trip. Originally, we wanted to stay IN Jackson (which we've done before) but the hotel prices are absurd -- I'm talking NYC prices (like $300 for a fleabag chain motel!). So we stayed here, and got one of the "Kamping Kabins". Like others have mentioned, yes this KOA... More

We made reservations for two nights since we were going to be there over the 4th and GTNP campsites are first come, first served. You can't see the campground from the office--for good reason. It's a gravel lot, and the RVs are wedged in so tightly they nearly touch. We promptly drove right back to the national park and got... More

We are sometime campers who have never stayed at a KOA before (looking down on them as not "real" camping) but chose this place as an alternative to the VERY pricey hotels in Jackson for a one-night stay on a road trip into Yellowstone. Our "basic" cabin was the most expensive room for our entire trip, which included some quite... More

LIZ AND JOYCE DO NOT NEED TO BE IN THE Hospitality business. They were not just rude, but mean-spirited when I asked for an upgrade from a tent site to a cabin since it was pouring down rain and hail. Unbelievable. They instead suggested a refund minus a $10 cancellation fee, which I gladly accepted. In other words, I was... More

This place is about 12 miles outside of downtown, but definitely worth the drive for the $ you save. Our cabin was perfect for a pit stop. It was a little stuffy when we arrived and we wished it had a ceiling fan or something to move the air. But by the time we went to bed for the evening,... More

I am not sure where the campers of the positive reviews of this campground were staying, but certainly not our experience at this KOA, and we have stayed at MANY KOAs. We have an 18 ft trailer - small for an RV, and we could barely fit into our spot. All the back in sites (no pull throughs) were packed... More

I made reservations months in advance for an adventure with my 85 year old mother (and 2 Nieces) who happens to be terminally ill. This was a "bucket list" trip for Mom... to see the Tetons and Yellowstone! When the reservation was made I requested a deluxe cabin away from the road because my Mom has trouble resting with too... Cabin was SMALL but clean...but beds were hard and uncomfortable. One set of bathrooms was modern and nice, the other was dirty, old and cramped. Not enough bathroom facilities for the amount of campers. Cabins were close together and so were the RV campsites. Staff was not very outgoing and manager was very rude to everyone. Beautiful location but I'm... More
