Booked after reading excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. Not what we expected, however not as bad as some of the other properties we used. In fact, even though I was very lukewarm about it (see following) during our first stay, I was very glad they were able to accommodate us upon our return because of unexpected car problems. Good thing:... more

We had originally booked two nights here but after learning that our requests for a quiet location had been misplaced, we canceled our first night. The tale speaks well of the operators even though the problem should have been avoided. We were working our way South from Yellowstone and had stopped at the Jackson Lake Lodge for lunch. I called... more

For a town where everything is way pricey, the Elk Country Inn stands out. We stayed in a cabin for one night on our way to GTNP. We used to work in the park so we knew what Jackson was like. I didn't think I find a room that I felt was a good value. I was wrong, our cabin... more

We stayed in one of the hotel rooms for 1 night after our visit to Yellowstone and were very pleased!! We had stayed in a cabin at the beginning of our trip and liked it so much that we decided to stay here at the end as well. The rooms are very large and we got a great rate of... more

We stayed in a three queen bed room with a loft and kitchenette for 2 nights at the AAA rate of $126 per night plus tax. Our room was spotless; everything was well kept up, and the hotel looks as if it had been recently remodeled. The room has rustic decor with log/wooden beds, but still is very up-to-date and... more

I stayed at the Elk Country Inn for nine nights with my sister in one of the cabins. The bedroom with two queen beds was perfect for two people. One side of each bed is against the wall so more than two adults might be a little uncomfortable. A third adult could easily sleep on the sleeper sofa. The living... more

We spent almost a week at the Elk Country Inn in Jackson in March this year and used it as a base to go snowboarding at Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee ski resorts. We stayed in one of the log cabins which had a separate double queen bedroom and living space including a small kitchen area. There was convenient parking... more

We stayed as we were in Jackson for a weeks skiing. Very clean cabin, cosy and warm. We had a good stay, great to have a log cabin and to wake up to fresh snow. The cabin had a little kitchen and equipment. We didn't actually cook because we at at Planet Palate, an awesome organic restauarant in town, but... more

We loved this hotel. The rooms were nice-looking and clean. There was complimentary hot chocolate, coffee, and internet. The staff was very friendly. The inn does not offer breakfast, but Jackson is a good-sized town with plenty of dining options, the majority of which are within walking distance of the inn. more

First -- a little background. We decided this summer to do a 10-day driving vacation, starting in Seattle, then Vancouver, Banff, Glacier National Park, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole, and ending in Salt Lake City. As the date for our flight to Seattle drew closer and closer, my work deadlines were keeping me from making reservations. Finally -- with about... more
