Unless you enjoy listening to bass, club music, and people yelling until 2AM, stay away from here. I now understand why this was the only hotel available when I booked somewhat last minute. If they would have told me Thursday night was DJ night at the bar in the same parking lot of the hotel, I would have opted out.... More

Went to Jackson thinking it would be easy to get a hotel the day of, but it was sold out everywhere due to the summer season. After calling number after number of every hotel/motel in the town only to be told "no vacancy," I came across the El Rancho Motel. The front desk girl told us to come in and... More

This OLD motel is hidden a block from the village....a nice place to be after a long drive. It is old and dated but clean. You need to register at the Anvil Motel which is around the corner. A modest breakfast of fresh fruit, yogurt and package muffins is offered for the El Rancho guests at the Anvil Motel.

We had a room across from the Italian restaurant. I know that many people complained about the music, but we could not hear it in our room at all even with all the windows open. So, you must have to be right next to it to hear it. We were fortunate enough to have quiet neighbors and everyone seemed to... More

Three of us spent the night in one of the double queen size rooms. It smelled so bad we tried to air it out by opening the window. Men talked loudly outside the window for 1/2 the night. So We closed the window and were too hot as there was no air conditioning. At 12:30 the couple next door came... More

Spend more and find another place to stay. The rooms are tiny, smell terrible and the room didn't have wifi as advertised. It didn't work at all for the two nights I was there. The electrical outlets need to be replaced, anything I plugged in kept falling out. I couldn't wait to leave and move on to the next part... More

Stayed here for two nights and will never go back. The office is in the next hotel over. They list that wifi is available and it wasn't the whole time we were there. Office staff had no idea on how to fix it and didn't bother calling there service provider till I recommended it. When I complained about the wifi... More

Accommodation in Jackson is 'spendy' for sure, but at least lock a guests room after you 'clean' it. Twice after we got back from a days hiking in the Tetons we found our room unlocked, and given the close proximity these rooms have to the road, anyone could have helped themselves to our belongings. Having brought this to the managers... More

I want people to understand that this is an old hotel in the center of town. If you're looking for location, the El Rancho can't be beat. If you want luxury, go somewhere else. However, the room was clean, and cleaned every day we were there (4 days). The rooms would be so much nicer if they just replaced the... More
