Came to Jackson for a girl's weekend so we wanted something affordable and close to town square. Chose the Painted Buffalo based on their prices and a friend's reccomendation. The front desk agent was very friendly and helpful. He reccomended a few places for dinner all that were with in walking distance and took the time to describe each place.... More

We booked a 1-night stay in a standard room with 2-Queen beds at the Painted Buffalo Inn in September 2013 via the Ebookers website (unfortunately we could not get the Buckrail Lodge for 3-nights). It was not a great start as we arrived at 2pm after a long drive and were told that we could not check in until 4pm... More

We gathered eight members of the family at the Inn just prior to Christmas 2013. The staff was welcoming and accomodating in our needs and requests. The breakfast was free and filling! We did not try the pool. The Inn's location is such that you do not need a car to get around. It was less expensive than the bus... More

Good local coffee all day in the lobby; comfortable room with a couch; standard continental breakfast; friendly staff, nice non-chain touches; nice pool; only a couple of blocks from the town square. It was exactly what we were looking for. The only hesitation I would have is paying full price - try to take advantage of one of their specials.

The construction in front of the hotel was a muddy mess, but not the hotel's fault, so we let that go. However, what is obvious is that there is not enough parking for all the rooms, even though it appeared a number of guests were from bus tours. We arrived about 5pm and were unable to find parking. The office... More

Recently stayed two nights at this pet friendly hotel. Faucet in bath sink was broken when we got there and room this non smoking room had the strong oder of smoke. Even though both myself and AAA confirmed we had a small pet, they were surprised when we got there. Nice of them to offer a pet gift which had... More

This hotel was nothing fancy but they get top marks for their friendliness and cleanliness. Everyone was very welcoming from the beginning to the end. The rooms are large and basic but clean and well kept up for an older property. The location is very central to the town. The breakfast is also basic but I don't expect much from... More

We stayed here recently for two nights on a tour. The hotel is clean and comfortable and is perfectly positioned for a stay in Jackson. The hotel has a nice pool and sauna and the included breakfast was perfectly adequate. Jackson itself is a lovely town with some fantastic shops. As we were on a tour bus the construction on... More
