Perhaps Jackson Hole is expensive. Yet, for the price paid I expected sowehting more cosy. Rooms are nice and clean, and not small either. However, bathtub is virtually inexistent (very very small). Also, breakfast (if you want to call it this way) is only a thermos with coffee and tea. Nothing to eat at all. It is not far from... More

Buckrail Lodge is a family-owned small motel approximately 6 blocks from Jackson town square. It only has 12 rooms but the rooms are spotless, well equipped with small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, ac unit for the room and heater unit for the bathroom. The owner lives right on the property - and she is wonderful, very helpful and informative. She... More

We stayed at Buckrail Lodge for 5 nights during a visit to both the Tetons and Yellowstone. It's convenient (about a 5 block walk) to Jackson's restaurants and shopping in the center of town. Extremely clean and well kept. It's a relatively modest ,although beautifully maintained establishment. We found it to be a perfect place to have some peace and... More

I can not say enough how much we enjoyed our stay at the Buckrail Lodge. We stayed three nights, from July 14-17th, 2007, and were sad to leave. The rooms were wonderful...clean, spacious, nicely appointed. The hotel staff was very pleasant, and helpful. The location was quiet, felt safe, and still within walking distance to the square in Jackson. We... More

If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Jackson, look no further than the Buckrail Lodge. Only a ten minute walk from the center of town square, but with a quiet ,cozy feeling nestled at the base of a ski mountain, the Buckrail Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. The staff are friendly and accomodating and... More

After deciding on going to Jackson, Wyoming, I was tasked with trying to find lodging that was affordable for our family of 4. There are a lot of places to stay, some in town (might be noisy), others far from town (have to find parking in town). I was hitting dead ends and figured I'd have to drop $250 or... More

We spent one night here in July '06. The room was clean and very comfortable. The decor of the entire lodge was very Wyoming. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lodge is located in a great place, close to downtown but not on the main drag so it was quiet at night. The only downside was the jacuzzi was... More

We booked our one night stay here (September 2006) after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor and we weren't disappointed. Our room was a reasonable size with great western themed décor. The shower room was very clean with nice complimentary toiletries. There was a fridge, microwave and coffee-maker in the room but no phone which I guess might bother some people.... More

We stayed at the Buckrail Lodge for one night after our visit to Yellowstone NP. We had a charming room with two double beds and an updated bath. The room, with a western theme, was very clean. The bath was large, with new tub/shower and basin and vanity. We arrived after dark and it was snowing. We did have a... More

My fiancee and I stayed at the Buckrail lodge for 3 nights during our trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. (We spent the first half of the week in West Yellowstone, MT.) The Buckrail Lodge is located about a half-mile from the downtown area of Jackson. It's a nice walk in the summertime. Our room was clean and... More
