My mom and I stayed at the Rusty Parrot for 3 nights in late September in conjunction with a stay in Yellowstone and the Grand Teton's. Although this hotel is almost double the price of the hotel we generally stay at in Jackson, the Wyoming Inn, we thought the extra luxury would really enhance our trip. Upon arrival, after the... more

We stayed here 4 nights in late August. Rooms were excellent, lovely and spacious with a great tub. We've loved the teddy bear tthat greeted us in various poses each evening. Jackson is a small town so even though this is a few blocks from the centre it's a very central yet quiet location. Bed was very comfortable, my wife... more

Superb complimentary breakfast each morning with made to order menu. Lovely place. Did not eat at Sage, but I have heard wonderful comments about the restaurant. The bed was superbly comfortable! more

While the Rusty Parrot Lodge fulfills most of the promise of being part of the SLH group (polite staff, delicious breakfasts, nicely decorated rooms), their response when a problem arose left much to be desired. We had called to reserve a room for 3 nights and the hotel told us that we could have a queen room (2 beds) for... more

Just got back from five nights in Jackson Hole at the Rusty Parrot and must say this hotel is great. While not cheap, the service, rooms, location, staff cannot be beat. The breakfasts each morning were great, as the chef would either make one of four specials or make whatever you like. Front staff was very nice and helpful, the... more

Just home from a terrific 4 day stay the the Rusty Parrot. The ambience and service was perfect and the location couldn't be any better for someone who wants to walk around town. but still be away from the square. The breakfasts (included with your room rate) are extraordinary. The Wild Sage Restaurant is really really special (you NEED to... more

I just love small hotels and this is a great one. It's part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World association and it truly lives up to the standard. We only spent one night here, on our way home after leaving Yellowstone, but it was lovely. It's about 3 blocks from the town square right in the middle of... more

I recently returned from a five night stay. Before describing my experience further, I would like to explain my rating. I am giving it a 3 based on an average of my dinner at the Wild Sage Restaurant (which I rate a 1), the lack of response from management (which I rate below a 1), and the overall hotel experience... more

The Rusty Parrot specializes in excellent service and great food, in our experience. We stayed for three nights in June and had two rooms for our party (two couples). The rooms were well-appointed and comfortable enough, though the lack of windows or outside deck was not so great. The in-room fireplace was a nice touch, though we didn't use it... more

We recently stayed at the Rusty Parrot for a spring ski trip, and found it to be a totally charming small lodge on the edge of Jackson. The staff is attentive and helpful and the food is awesome! We will be going back, highly recommended. more
