This hotel was geared more to the construction people who were from other areas. The room was very large, and definitly quiet! next to us was the laundry, but we never heard the washers or dryers. It is located in the industrial area, but not bad at all.

Emailed contract for client and was told I would have rooms. I called the hotel on arrival day and was told that nothing was blocked. Begged the front desk to please call Mark the owner. Never got a return call. Just called and his wife was a complete B on the phone. I would not book my dog at this... More

Rosanne, Thank you for reviewing our hotel. I'm sorry but you didn't stay at the hotel you are a third party booking agent we pay commission to. And just so we are clear you called and inquired about rooms, but you didn't make a reservation. You didn't give a firm answer about how many rooms you needed, and we told... More

I recently stayed at this Rodeway Inn. I am a Choice Hotels member, and this was my first time in a Rodeway Inn. It is a tiered alternative in the Choice Hotels lineup. It may not have all the amenities you would expect at a Comfort, Cambria, or Quality, but that does not mean that it is a horrible place.... More

When booking the hotel I figured if it was a Rodeway Inn so it won't be too bad, we were traveling to the Sturgis bike rally and needed a overnight stay for a reasonable price. Prices are always a little higher this time a year so I expected that. The area the Rodeway was located in Gillette was not on... More

I arrived slightly worried because of the low tripadvisor ratings. In fact it is an old and undermaintained structure that gets only some of the basics right: room size and bed cleanliness. Carpets are very doubtful though. Our bathtub was cracked and water would leak who knows where. The bathroom tappings hadn't been decalcified or replaced in decades, so expect... More

This hotel is located away from the main lodging area of Gillette, in a rather seedy part of town, but still not inexpensive. We had a second floor room, with no elevator. Tough to haul the suitcases, cooler, etc on my bad knee! The room was fine - two beds, hard mattress, good AC and TV set up. Continental breakfast... More

even tho the towns people were not impressed by this hotel, it was quiet. The rooms were clean, beds very comfortable. Do not be put off by the area -- it is in and industrial part of town, near the highway, and contractors were staying there. we had no trouble what so ever,

As far as Rodeway Inns go, this is pretty much run of the mill. As to be expected, nothing really fancy. The room was presentable though. Furniture didn't look TOO cheap. It was rather spacious. Took forever to find the place (because it's really not close to town). In a very industrial area (I guess that means bad area). But... More

We arrived for our non-smoking room in this "pet friendly" hotel at 5 pm (reserved online via Travelocity), We were told there were no pet rooms and no non-smoking rooms, only smoking rooms. I have allergies, so immediately started looking for another place to stay in town. When my husband tried to get a refund, he was told 'no refunds.'... More

Reserved, arrived to check-in, was told the only pet room available at this hotel that advertises "pet friendly" was a smoking room, contrary to our reservation. When advised that we couldn't accept that they said they had no room they could rent us (while offering rooms to other walk-ins.) The reservation was prepaid, so I asked for a refund. After... More
