I don't understand the positive reviews for this hotel. I have had the misfortune to stay there twice in the last 20 years. Both experiences were horror stories. During the most recent visit, we booked two rooms; both were horribly smoky, even though they were marked as non-smoking rooms. The room that my colleague and I shared had a damaged... more

Dear anonone, Thank you for taking the time to post your comments on Trip Advisor regarding your stay at the Shilo Inn Hotel – Casper/Evansville. I apologize your stay was less than perfect. We are now a 100% non smoking hotel and all of the rooms that at one time were smoking rooms have been deep cleaned and painted. I...

The front desk person was very nice and was very helpfull. The room was open and the beds were very clean and it was one of the best nights sleep i have had in a long time. The location was very close to nice restraunts and very close to the shopping mall. There pool was closed but they gave us... more

I was very pleased with my stay at the Shilo Inn. The rate was right in my budget. When I arrived I was very tired from traveling after a days work. The staff was very friendly and quick about getting me checked in. I really liked the entire atmosphere of the hotel. My room was very clean and neat. The... more

My room was clean and completely smoke free, luckily Shilo went completely smoke free in all of its hotels so there was not the hint of a cigarette smell anywhere. The staff was very welcoming and overall I enjoyed my stay. more

I lucked out with a newly renovated room-no smoke smell. Good off-season price. Clean. Staff tries to please as best they can. Pool/spa is still closed. Good for an over-nite traveler who needs a place to sleep for a few hours. more

This is an older hotel, and it's showing it's age. Everything felt rundown. Our bathroom door had scratches all over it, like a dog had been kept inside and tried to claw it's way out. Although we were in a non-smoking room, everything reaked of cigarette smoke. The hallways smell very badly of smoke, not to mention they are THE... more

We just returned from a 13 day vacation in the NW, and this was our last, 2nd most expensive, and least satisfactory motel stay. The motel is located right next to Interstate 25 and has thin walls providing traffic noise and a noisey hallway. The pool and hottub were unavailable (under repair). Wifi was available only to those with windows... more

After staying in your hotels in Twin Falls and Idaho Falls, Casper was really a disappointment. We were returning to New Jersey and we had just visited Yellowstone Park and noticed that you had a Shilo Inn in Casper. Since our last two stays were so great, we decided to stay. Needless to say, this hotel needs a lot of... more
