A perfect place to stay. The accommodations are first class. The food was outstanding. The badlands, high desert, wild life, climate, was such a unique experience. Getting to ride a horse through all this was a dream come true. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and knowledgeable in their positions. I would recommend it to anyone who loves the... We were there last week for my niece's wedding. Destination weddings are certainly not easy things to plan! Mollie, Hunter and the staff were amazing. Every little detail was accounted for -- including 40 MPH gusting winds -- with alternates all planned out for "what if?" situations if they came up. The ranch is easy-going and very comfortable. Dee and... More

I found the CM Ranch by googling dude ranches in Wyoming. It was such an amazing place! It was my first dude ranch experience. I loved it and have already booked 2 weeks for next summer. The cabins are rustic but comfortable. The food was so amazing! Dee and Alex are excellent chefs! The staff was beyond fabulous. They were... More

Just returned from our first dude ranch experience and it was great. Everyone on staff including the managers (Hunter & Molly) cooks, servers and housekeeping were very helpful and attentive. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to ensure your needs are met. The food was much better than expected. The wranglers try hard in... More

Yes, this was my first time, but I was here for a photography seminar that was put on in the CM facilities. I will have to go back again as a real "dude" to really take advantage of what the Ranch has to offer. Horse riding as well as fishing are the two main attractions. The site is idyllic and... More

Sunday AM, time to leave! The beautiful. Dubois, WY area. The CM Ranch! My first trip to the CM was 1972, and from then, I've been pleased to call it "a home". As a teen, I had the pleasure (and yes, it was a pleasure as I look back on it) to have been given an experience of a lifetime.... More

The riding at the CM is always a treat. After 16 straight years at the CM, the trails never get old. Riding varies from meadows to Badlands to incredible mountain-top views. The ranch does a good job of pairing each guest with a horse which the guest keeps and gets to know for a week. The riding and the horses... More

After 18 straight summer visits to the CM, I can honestly say it feels like a second home -- one far more beautiful and fun than my city dwelling. The riding is terrific, tailored to your ability. The cabins are comfortable and well-appointed. This is an historic property, and its "feel" is truly authentic. You can learn a great deal... More

CM Ranch is a large, beautiful ranch with varying terrain located in the Badlands. There are abundant horses for riding. Fly-fishing is available on the ranch. Petroglyph tours are available on Wednesdays and are wonderful. A small swimming pool is on site but we did not use this. Each day someone runs into town to purchase items requested by guests.... A wonderful way to experience the west. The CM Ranch provides clean, welcoming sleeping arrangements, a friendly staff, and most importantly is surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The CM Ranch is a must if you are in Wyoming.
