Just returned from our first dude ranch experience and it was great. Everyone on staff including the managers (Hunter & Molly) cooks, servers and housekeeping were very helpful and attentive. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to ensure your needs are met. The food was much better than expected. The wranglers try hard in... More

Yes, this was my first time, but I was here for a photography seminar that was put on in the CM facilities. I will have to go back again as a real "dude" to really take advantage of what the Ranch has to offer. Horse riding as well as fishing are the two main attractions. The site is idyllic and... More

Sunday AM, time to leave! The beautiful. Dubois, WY area. The CM Ranch! My first trip to the CM was 1972, and from then, I've been pleased to call it "a home". As a teen, I had the pleasure (and yes, it was a pleasure as I look back on it) to have been given an experience of a lifetime.... More

The riding at the CM is always a treat. After 16 straight years at the CM, the trails never get old. Riding varies from meadows to Badlands to incredible mountain-top views. The ranch does a good job of pairing each guest with a horse which the guest keeps and gets to know for a week. The riding and the horses... More

After 18 straight summer visits to the CM, I can honestly say it feels like a second home -- one far more beautiful and fun than my city dwelling. The riding is terrific, tailored to your ability. The cabins are comfortable and well-appointed. This is an historic property, and its "feel" is truly authentic. You can learn a great deal... More

CM Ranch is a large, beautiful ranch with varying terrain located in the Badlands. There are abundant horses for riding. Fly-fishing is available on the ranch. Petroglyph tours are available on Wednesdays and are wonderful. A small swimming pool is on site but we did not use this. Each day someone runs into town to purchase items requested by guests.... A wonderful way to experience the west. The CM Ranch provides clean, welcoming sleeping arrangements, a friendly staff, and most importantly is surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The CM Ranch is a must if you are in Wyoming.

I belong to a group of riders who for the past 15 years have ridden at a variety of ranches in WY, MT, CO and British Columbia. We all agreed that our recent vacation at CM Ranch was outstanding among all the ranches we have visited. The staff, food, accommodations, scenery and horses were top notch. I would recommend the... My mother, sister, and I have visited CM Ranch twice and intend to return when our schedules and budgets allow. We LOVE it. The ranch setting is intimate and beautiful. The hosts and staff truly make an effort to get to know the guests on a personal basis. The small dining area is inviting and the food is consistently delicious.... More

The dude ranch experience at the CM Ranch in Dubios is amazing! The staff immediately makes you feel comfortable and welcome, even if you haven't ridden a horse before. They carefully select a horse that you will ride for the twice daily rides during your week-long stay. They know you by name on the first day, which is impressive since... More
