This hotel was great, gave us early check-in. The indoor pool area is fantastic, well laid out and very relaxing. The hotel staff were very friendly and when we enquired if there was somewhere we could eat other than our rooms, we were provided with tables near the pool area with white tablecloths. Nothing was a bother to the staff... more

Step into a great looking hotel. The lobby area is beautiful and the pool, what a great pool. It's the first 9ft deep pool I've ever seen at a hotel. The food at the restaurant was great. We were caught in a blizzard and had to stay at the hotel and they were fantastic in providing activities for the kids... more

The spacious, very attractive lobby comes as a surprise at this chain motel in a small, rather out-of-the-way town. Rooms are more typical, but clean and comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally helpful. The location is handy for the excellent Pioneer Museum and state fairgrounds. The restaurant is only so-so. The dinner menu is limited, but fairly well prepared. Breakfasts... more

Got caught in a winter snow storm that closed I-25 South bound. We pulled into the Best Western and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were average, generally clean, but most importantly, they were pet friendly. You will need a $100 deposit if you are paying cash, but that seem standard in the region. There is an... more

I have stayed there several times in the last three months. Until my last stay, everything was mostly good. They are getting cheap. They are cutting services and nickel and dimeing the rates up. Pros: Rooms are clean and comfortable, bar is reasonably priced, good hot tub, helpful staff, free books to read. Cons: Slow check-out, restaurant is expensive and... more

Ya, so I am still staying here and actually typing this in my room. The hotel has potential to be a great place BUT, the hotel is VERY expensive when it comes to food at the restuarant (the cheapest thing is about S7.50), it smells like a cigarette butt everywhere and my favorite is last. Ive been here what will... more

Nothing exceptional, a standard room with wireless internet but not much else. No view, and a difficult entry: locked outer door, stairway, another door, room door. Room was neat and clean, very nice lobby, indoor pool. Eat at the LaBonte Inn downtown Douglas, great prime rib reasonably priced! more

Not the cleanest hotel in the world! It was also the noisiest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The staff was really nice though. If you have to stay in Douglas, you should try and stay at the Holiday Inn Express just down the road. more

Had a great time on our spur of the moment trip. We came through Douglas and even due to the fact that they were very busy, they were able to find us a room. We had reservations, but some how they had gotten lost. The desk staff was very accomidatable in this situation and compensated us for an inconvenience that... more

Some problems staying here. Was to stay 5 days, only stayed 3. 1. Didn't get the room we reserved. Had to dicker some to get the room we orignally reserved at the price we wanted. 2. No elevators. Had to drag 4 pieces of luggage upstairs to second floor. 3. They locked us out of our room one day. We... more
