The staff were exceptionall friendly and helpful. The location is close to the WY oil fields so there are a lot of permanent campers for workers and it was busy with traffic all night. It's a good place if you're passing through but not to stay for any length of time.

We certainly had no sewage smell that others have mentioned. The park was very clean and well kept and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The sites, though close together were very clean, level and had nice grass space to relax on with our camp chairs. This was the least expensive and the best value by far that we... More

We stayed here while passing through bleak eastern Wyoming. There aren't a lot of options and for a 1 night stay this KOA was fine. The location isn't great. It's located next to a sewer dump station so the smell isn't present and there is a trailer park next door. However the bathrooms are very clean and nice and the... More

We stayed here on 8/10/13 with 8 horses, 2 dogs, 2 adults and 2 kids. They supplied us with big, clean fresh water buckets for the horses, a dog pen for the dogs to exercise in, and gave us a site for tent rate because we didn't have living quarters in our trailer. On the return trip from Montana where... More

We had planned to stay to nights and packed up at 9pm the second night to leave. The field where the sewage is drained is right next to the campground, and even with Wyoming winds the stench permeated the whole campground. We were still gagging 45 miles later. The RV's were parked one next to another in spite of many... More

We broke down on our way to Cheyenne and were towed into Douglas KOA. Staff went above and beyond providing us with lodging for 2 nights and 3 days while we repaired our truck. They even asked us on a daily basis how it was going with repair and if we needed anything. They gave us the phone number to... More

We have stayed at the Douglas KOA twice for softball tournaments. They have a nice outdoor pool, which was nice for relaxing between and after games. The employees are friendly and helpful. There is miniature golf available for an additional cost, which can get a little pricey with several children. The bathrooms and shower area is very clean and homey.... More

We stayed here one night while taking a 13 day road trip. The staff was very friendly, and the bathrooms and property were incredibly clean! The only downside was the odd location. The property is surrounded on three sides by a trailer park, and it appeared that even the campground had some permanent residents. Everyone was friendly, and at no... More

..stayed here on the way from So Dakota to Colorado for one night.. Could have been longer. This KOA was absolutely fabulous! If you're familiar with the legend of the Jackaloupe, then this KOA will appeal to you. There is plenty to do in Douglas for the tourist, and the staff will let you know what's good and what's not.... More
