We stayed at Bear Lodge a few days ago, and I cannot remember another time where I was treated so well, or had as much fun as I did. We checked in and then took our dog for a walk (yes pets are welcome if you make them known upon reservation). Anyways, took the dog for a beautiful walk and... More

I had to respond after reading the outrageous comment that only pampered people would be dissatisfied. Bee fn Ess!!!! I am from Gillette, which really is not the lap of luxury. I expect to recieve good service, and good value for my money. I recieved neither. The people are rude and the place is filthy. I am not some socialite... More

We have been snowmobiling in Wyoming for the past 15 years, and have stayed in different lodges. Our group can range from 15 to 25 people. Elk View is our favorite lodge of the 3 because rooms are bigger. We always have a great time, some time service is slow but we never let that upset us. My thoughts on the... More

I stayed at Bear Lodge on 2-22-2013 with my family for a snowmobile trip. The hotel room was filthy. Stains on the carpet, empty beer cans under the bed, smelly hot tub, and the list goes on. The service in the restaurant was bad and they ran out of water while we were there. I will never stay there again.

For my birthday I wanted to go snowmobile ridding with my friends. So I made my reservation three months early. Reserved a two bed room. Tried to reserve a snowmobile was told no there was nothing going on in February. Called back two weeks before to try to extend my stay. Could not find my reservation. Like some else said... More

I would highly recommend avoiding a trip to this place.... too start off my family is coming to visit me in wyoming so I thought it would be fun to rent some snowmobiles while they where on their visit. I reserved 3 snowmobiles for a half day at $130 a piece ( which is a little steep I should say)... More

Bear Lodge in Wyoming. At first, I was apprehensive after reading the negative reviews but my partner in Wyoming told me that it would be a good place to stay. The service was excellent, staff very friendly & helpful. Quality of the restaurant & the food was excellent & the maid service, very good.

This is not a resort, by any stretch of your imagination. The surrounding scenery and recreational opportunities rate a 10, the resort and it's two sibilings (Arrowhead and Elk View) rate less than a zero. I brought my wife out on a visit on the recomendation of friends that snowmobile in the Bighorns in the winter. As stated, outdoor experience... More

We recently stayed on our way to Yellowstone. Big mistake!!! As others have alluded......this place is infested and nothing but a trash heap. Our room (which cost about $90) was filthy. Stained carpets, gross bedding, the wallpaper is literally peeling off the walls, leaking toilet, broken screen and curtain rod. I could go on and on. The grounds around the... More

I'll start out by saying that I practically grew up in the Bighorn Mtns. I've spent time there EVERY summer since I was born. Therefore, I know what Bear Lodge was like before the current owners. It wasn't good either but it has gotten 10X's worse in the years that the current owners have had it. I keep hoping that... More
