After reading many reviews, I was not looking forward to staying here. However, it turned out better than expected. We stayed in cabin 10 and it was clean enough. I expected a horrible cabin, but it was nice. Two full size bunks and a wood stove. There was a small table with 4 chairs. The only real problem I had... More

We arrived during a very period on a Saturday afternoon. The gentleman on reception was very overworked and flustered but after a wait we were given a room at the rear of the Lodge. The interior of the Lodge is a little tired but our room was perfectly acceptable. It did not have any extra luxuries but was clean and... More

We made the mistake of not trusting the reviews. I have read bad reviews of places before to find that they were not as bad as made out to be. This place is deffinitly as bad if not worse than the reviews state. We stayed one night of our 3 night reservation in a rustic cabin (cabin 14 to be... More

Even after reading several reviews we took a chance on our family vacation on the Bear Lodge Resort and reserved a rustic cabin for 3 nights, mainly due to location. Biggest mistake we've ever made in taking our children anywhere. We were expecting the exterior to look like it did, so no surprises there. But the interior of the cabin... More

It was nice to be able to stay up in the Big Horns but this place is really in need of some new management. All transactions (restaurant, hotel, gift shop) had to go through one register so there was always a wait time of at least 5 minutes or longer for service. Then only one person at the register who... My family had an excellent, summer overnight at the Bear Lodge Resort. It was a perfect place to refresh a weary traveler, just five hours from Old Faithful in Yellowstone Park. We arrived after dinner to a clean and quiet room. The morning breakfast was spectacular--omelets prepared to order, fresh waffles, fruit, and a blanket of purple and gold wildflowers... More

I will avoid this place on my next adventure up the Big Horns. The room was not at all what I had expected, I'm struggling to find anything positive... I guess that would be cable TV. We had the worst nights sleep ever the beds sagged in the middle and the pillows, well a folded up towel would have been... More

We will never go back to this resort! Service was ok, but our hotel room was disgusting! everything from dirty bedding to cigarette butts on the un vacuumed floor and sticky bathroom floor- I could not wait to leave this place! Resort was dirty, dingy and old looking. Also there was NO cell service or phones in the room the... More

Stayed at the Arrowhead lodge. The service that we received from Arrowhead and Bear lodge was excellent. The food was great. The employees were awesome. Going back again I next year. This is the place to stay if your going snowmobiling in the Big Horns. All the trails are outside the door of your room.

We stayed at Bear Lodge Christmas Eve. Very friendly staff and wonderful food. The rooms weren't bran new but clean. Enjoyed a few good drinks in the lounge and went for a swim/hot tub before bed. Even saw 3 moose on the way up. I would recommend this lodge for a nice getaway from all the people.
