Our wildlife tour customers often stay at this lodge when we are frequenting the Cody area. We love to add the dinner horseback ride onto their stay that this ranch offers, and then come back to a warm community fire upon our return. Kids especially love being able to go and grab marshmallows from the kitchen and roasting them on... More

I stayed here with the extended family and had a fantastic time! The lodges are all so cozy each with their own unique look. Each has a little area where you can sit outside the cabin and soak in the nature on a rocking chair. I am in my 20's and it was brilliant after a long day driving around... More

First, as much as they have a Cody address, this ranch is at the East entrance of Yellowstone and about a 45 min. drive from Cody. That is good though. This is a rustic quaint lodge and we loved our stay here, for two nights, which was in one of the separate log cabins. All of the staff was so... More

We had a day before we could check in at Yellowstone and had pulled in and out of places all along the road from Cody, looking for a place to stay. When we pulled up here there were buffalo grazing in the yard and we knew this was it. It was their last day of the season and they were... More

If you are looking for five star accommodations and all kinds of amenities, look elsewhere, but if you need a comfortable bed, super nice people, good food, huge portions and a location close to YNP, then this may work for you. There is no cell service, limited but adequate wifi and no TV. All accommodations are rustic cabins of varying... More

We stayed 4 nights in Cabin 3 and then cabin 14-15 (as our party increased from 2 to 4). Nice cozy, cabins with nice surroundings and porch to sit and relax. Nice evening camp fire was enjoyed by all. Very warm and down-to-earth people working there. Gail was great ... Roll Tide she's from Alabama).... food was great and we... More

The Shoshone Lodge is a relatively small property with a group of cabins just outside the east entrance of Yellowstone. The setting is beautiful, and provides a good alternative to fully booked cabins within the park. We stayed three nights in "Camp Grizz", one of the cabins closest to the lodge/restaurant. The cabin was older, but fairly well maintained. The... More

Comfortable cabin and great food-dinner and breakfast. Beautiful setting with a rich history of the West. Easy to stop over for a night but a great place for a destination vacation. Horses, hiking, fishing, and just sitting on the porch enjoying views and the quiet.

This was our sixth time staying at Shoshone Lodge and as per our previous reviews you can tell we just really love it here! Everything is just right, the people are wonderful, genuine folks that make you feel right at home and we look forward to seeing everyone each year when we return. We stayed this year in Clearwater Cabin... More

Just to let you how much we enjoyed our stay at your beautiful Lodge! Your staff made us feel like family and the other guests were just as nice. The food was wonderful and the prime rib the best we ever had. Our dog ate on what I could not finish the whole way home! We certainly plan on coming... More
