This is what they advertised on their sign, and it was all true. Friendly staff, possibly the owners greeted me and I am impressed with the amount of amenities this small room had. Possibly one of the best mattresses that I have ever slept on in an under $75 room. (Keep in mind it was off season for the area).... More

I was passing through on business... Got snowed in... but that's okay! This place is great! Clean room... No nasty 'continental breakfast' here... Who can eat that stuff anyway? Go to Granny's or the Irma. My guess is that they sell out in the summer! Fran and Peek a Boo were a welcome site!

Great little mom and pop hotel in Cody. Rooms are small but clean. New carpet. Newer bedspreads Fresh paint. Save money on a room and enjoy dinner at the Rib and Chop House downtown. Super Yummy as well.

A strange title for sure, but it is the name of the incredibly friendly cockatoo that inhabits the lobby. I have never handled birds and after some trepidation and guidance from Fran, the owner, I enjoyed handling this marvelous bird that just loves people. I have stayed here twice and would not stay anywhere else. I stay in the same... More

Don't miss this little gem in downtown Cody. Owners Fran & Ken will treat you like family and make sure your stay is perfect. The rooms are sparkling clean. Any extra requests will be cheerfully attended to in short order. If you visit in the summer, you can't miss the huge hanging baskets of blooms that greet visitors. Special arrangements... More

While in Cody, WY on my husbands Air Force Reunion we stayed at the Carter Mountain Motel. Really neat experience. Fran and Ken are the owners and couldn't be any nicer and accommodating. Quaint rooms, clean, and comfortable. Was impressed that along with the coffee maker were (real) coffee cups. We enjoyed our stay.

I stayed for one night when traveling between West Yellowstone and Buffalo Wy. The motel is clean and the owners are very friendly. They can assist you with a lot of information about the area. I stayed in a room with a single bed. It was very comfortable and there was a recliner also beside the bed which was very... More

We came to Cody on our way west and were tired. Carter Mt Motel was convenient and the room looked good and the beds were comfortable. The woman who checked us in helped us locate a car wash because hatching bugs just east of town had made our windshield nearly opaque. I learned via the free wifi that I had... More
