Very cool lodge in the Shoshone Forest. We stayed in one of their cabins. One night we heard noise coming from the walls and woke up in a panic. Turns out a family of raccoons made a home under our cabin. My husband and I thought it was the funniest thing because for a minute we thought bear were trying... More

We were unable to get accommodations in the Park, so we stayed here. There were two couples.....we had a double cabin (separate entrances)....the room was clean..not roomy, but we did not expect a Marriott. The shower was very small, but the cabins are older and I suspect the shower was added at sometime...the water was just great, however. I noted... More

We left it too late to stay at the lodging inside Yellowstone, so Absaroka was my next best choice, located minutes from the East entrance of Yellowstone. This place was like no other we had stayed at before and we were all excited. On arrival we were dumbstruck by the tranquility and beauty of the place. We had a double... More

We have stayed here several times over many years. It is located close to the East entrance of Yellowstone. The cabins are in need of some maintenance and a bit of a refresh. The lodge is rustic but comfortable. The food is great with big portions. The cabins are located close to a pretty steam. The rate is a little... More

We booked this cabin for a very last minute overnight stay near Yellowstone. We were fortunate to find a vacant cabin here that was just right for our needs. The online reservation and confirmation process was easy and quick. I appreciated the follow-up email communication from the lodge too. At check-in we were met with a friendly face and a... More

The lodge and cabins are all set back in a valley of sorts between two buttes across the road from a river. The cabins are nice and neat, but the shower in our cabins was TINY. The shower being TINY is m!y only complaint about our whole stay! The staff all seemed to be friendly and the food in the... More

Located short distance from East Entrance to Yellowstone Park this lodge is a good spot to set the base while staying in the area. Its hidden from the road in a picturesque canyon and offers true west experience for a reasonable rate. Grounds are clean, have campfire, few activities for the kids, creek flows through the property and has few... More

The rustic ranch style cabins have very good beds and bathrooms. We stayed in Gunbarrel(I know they spell it different). It had a nice main room, great king size bed room and plenty of hot water for long showers. The restaurant has good food but only open 7-9am and 5-8pm. The staff pay attention to your every need. They also... More

My fiance and I stayed here in a 2 person cabin during the summer of 2014 on our first trip to Yellowstone. The cabin we stayed in was everything we were looking for- quiet, secluded, and relaxing. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee every morning, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! We typically only ate breakfast at the... More

We stayed one night here while vacationing at Yellowstone. The cabin we reserved was not what we expected. It was attached to another cabin. When ended up wanting our own separate cabin and they provided. It turned out to be exactly what we wanted. We are from the city. We like our electronics....Wifi...Internet. Cell signal. TV. You will not have... More
