I took four 15 year old girl scouts to the ranch last week. We all had such an amazing dude ranch vacation. The staff was great and went above and beyond my expectations to make our stay fun. The owner, Johnie, was a terrific guide through Yellowstone and we enjoyed our picnic lunch with him. Our wranglers took us out... More

We found this place from a Flyer in the Holiday Inn Express in Cody and took a chance. What we found was a great little getaway. We went horseback riding and they showed us breath taking views of the country only visible by horseback or helicopter. The cabins are cute, the people are pleasant and eager to please, and the... We checked into the Bronco cabin late one night. I was disappointed in the cabin as it seemed a little too rustic and shabby looking. Thankfully, our sink was clogged, and we were moved to the Timberline cabin. Timberline was a lot nicer than the Bronco, if you don't mind the heater being right in front of the toilet. After... We were on a cross country trip and decided to stay at Yellowstone for a few days, but when we found Blackwater Creek on trip advisor we decided to stay for four days. They were great! Very family-friendly, the staff were nice, the food was good and reasonably priced. The cabins were rustic and clean. When we left and dropped our... More

I was looking for a room for one night as I made my way into Yellowstone and was lucky to find a small cabin available at Blackwater Creek. It was wonderful, rustic yet clean with the rushing creek right behind it. Very relaxing and beautiful place. It was great to have a place with no tv, no radio, no internet... More

We stayed for 2 nights on a brief trip to Yellowstone. This ranch is located close to the park, and is comfortable and pleasant. There is a game hall with billiards and foosball, a large outdoor campfire area where we roasted marshmallows and told spooky stories with the kids, and the main cabin has a nice dining area, as well... We stayed here during our quick trip to Yellowstone. The grizzly cabin was awesome. We are a family of 5, so it can be hard to find a place for all of us to stay. This had 3 twins and 1 double. Perfect! We just intended to sleep here between our trips to Yellowstone and coming from Cody one night.... More

My husband and I loved our week vacationing in the NW part of Wyoming. After spending 2/3rds of the week in Jackson Hole/Grand Teton Natl Park and Yellowstone our final 3 nights were booked at the Blackwater Creek Ranch. We really didn't know what to expect but I envisioned cowboys, campfires, horses, and chuckwagon food. I believe we were the... More

I just left Blackwater Creek Ranch. It's a piece of heaven on earth. Nestled in a lush, green canyon with dramatic rock cliffs and water rushing all around, the ranch is perfectly situated between Yellowstone National Park and the town of Cody, WY (15 minutes to park's east entrance and 20 minutes to Cody's museums, shops, rodeo). The staff, meals... More

We actually stayed at the end of June of 2013, but just now getting around to the review. The place was beautiful. The sound of a mountain stream and horses are a nice change from an all work city dweller like myself. Short trip to yellowstone's east gate. About 15min. Then another 30min before you get to the loops of... More
