Nice place to sleep but dated. Rooms could stand to be upgraded. Beds were very comfortable but pillows are see through. Large clean rooms. Bath towels are a little larger than a postage stamp. Outside looks charming. Good price and location

We ended up in a situation where we needed to stop for the night in Cody just long enough to shower and sleep. Much of Cody was full. The place seemed decent from the outside. The people that owned the place were not friendly and not accommodating. They seemed more worried about enforcing their "rules" and assuring we didn't have... More

It was later in the day and we were coming out of Yellowstone National Park so we took pretty much the first place we saw. Prices are outrageous period in Cody. We paid a little less because we took one of the older rooms. The carpet was new, the bed was new but the bathroom was old. The toilet was... More

Absolutely have to agree with previous reviews entitled "Ripped Off!" and "Overpriced, and opportunistic." They describe our experience to a tee, except that we didn't witness any fights. The price was outrageous, the room - though "recently renovated" - was Spartan. The wi-fi didn't work, the towels were miniscule, there was no phone, the tv didn't work. The "free continental... We checked in thinking that we needed to reserve a room before looking at any rooms. When we walked into the room, there was an overwhelming smell of fish, the carpet was stained and dirty, toilet seat looked like it hadn't been replaced since the 70's, the sink had toothpaste spit in it, shower was stained and had hair in... The same thing happened to us as the other reviewer. Went to a different motel and was told everything was booked in town and to go to this place. The man at the desk kept asking me over and over how many people we had even though I kept telling him two. He had signs at the counter listing the... More

My husband and I were exhausted, we had been travelling for over a week. We tried finding a room prior to entering Cody, passing through Cody and a little after Cody, but we could not find one until we got to the Grizzly. I was quoted a $150.00/ night for dilapidated, dark room. We were so tired and in need... More

Booked this room online. It is not as it appears. Once we got there and actually seen the room, we did not stay. While the outside looked new the rooms are very small and old. Beds are hard. I'd rather get a sleeping bag and stay in the park.

For the price we can't complain. We only stayed long enough to sleep and were gone before the continental breakfast hours. The bathroom needed some work. The sink/bathroom area was very small. OK for two people but it would have been really tight quarters to fill the twin beds.

We stayed at Grizzly Bear Lodge the second week of September. Cody, WY was jammed packed with lots of tour buses, RVs, cars - tourists from all over, maybe even up from Colorado where they had just had some massive rains. We were driving down US 16, the main drag in Cody looking for a room. Hotel after hotel was... More
