This place was built by Buffalo Bill Cody as a hunting lodge just outside of Yellowstone National Park. We stayed in the queen suite cabin #1 and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with privacy and quiet. No, there is no TV, no wifi, and no cell service. It is very remote and amenties are harder and more expensive for them to provide.... More

The breakfast (not included in room rate) was wonderful although the coffee was average and I was never offered a refill. We arrived there at 10 pm. It was dark at our cottage and the lightbulb to the steps was burned out so we had to make our way up the stairs in the dark. The 3 bedroom room (5... More

It sounded nice, but was so awful. We were so excited about staying just outside the entrance to Yellowstone as we had a full day in there and thought that it would be convenient to stay so close. The fact that it is near is about the only good thing about it. We stayed in cabin 4, it smelt, had... More

Even though the setting was beautiful, we felt like for the price of the room, little was offered. We knew there would be no TV, but didn't realize we would have no cell phone service. Also the room was extremely small even for just my husband and me. There was no coffee in the room nor any available before 7:00... More

This is a decent place to stay convenient to Yellowstone. The cabin we stayed in was small and basic, but it seemed clean and stayed warm. Television and internet are very limited in Yellowstone so don't expect much(think of where you are).

After reading endless bad things about the Teepee, I was nervous about staying there, but the location (less than 2 miles from the East entrance to Yellowstone was so convenient and what we needed). It was nice actually! We stayed 1 night in the queen suite cabin. It was a decent size and clean with a new bathroom. The surroundings... More

This was the destination of a much anticipated trip and it was horrible. Our large group was booked into the lodge, which had insufficient room for the people. Hubby and I plus another couple were crammed into a double room that obviously was supposed to be a single: no chair, no table, no TV, no tub (just a wee shower),... More

We stayed here because it was as close as we could get when we made the reservation, but were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Cabin style rooms, clean and comfortable, but a little lacking on light. Excellent restaurant and bar with friendly staff and very good food. We spent two nights here. The East Gate is a great place to... More

We stayed here for 3 nights while exploring Yellowstone. We had an A-frame with a queen (or maybe it was full) bed. The room was small, but had space for our bed, a desk and chair and a luggage rack. The bathroom appeared to have wen recently remodeled. Bed was comfy and the room was quiet. Yes, walls were a... More

No signal, no wifi, no breakfast, no coffee machine, the room has a bad smell and is not clean. Because my iphone had no signal at all, I had to use the telephone to call outside. It charged me $27 for 5 minutes! The front desk promised not to charge me since I didn't know there's no signal at all.... More
