What an awesome vacation!! We couldn't wait to tell everyone we could about this ranch. From the amenities, location, activities, food, to the wonderful ownership and staff, the Crossed Sabers Ranch checked every box for us. The accommodations were perfect for our family of four. Kenny, the owner, his family and the rest of the staff were always able to... More

I spent a week at this family owned and operated ranch in the beginning of September 2015. The season was coming to an end, but the weather couldn't have been better..mid to upper 60's during the day and 30's at night. Despite being a solo traveler out of my element, Kenny and staff went the extra mile to make me... More

Our family spent a week at the ranch in August 2015. The season was slowing down, so there were not that many families. Not being a horse person or a ranch person for that matter, I didn't know if there would be enough to 'do. Well, seems that we actually ran out of time before we ran into that problem!... More

I stayed at this ranch for two weeks. I could not have had a better experience. Kenny and the staff go out of their way to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. Kenny will customize your stay as much as he possibly can. They picked me up in Cody, delivered me to and from the airport a couple of times... More

We had a GREAT time at this Ranch. Kenny and Laura bought this ranch a few years ago, so best to ignore older reviews. They take a guest first approach, always looking for ways to make your experience memorable. We are a family of 5 (kids 12, 10 and 6) and the activities were not only geared towards us as... More

Thank you Crossed Sabres! What a truly amazing experience for my daughters and I. It was a vacation of a lifetime! I can't rave enough about Kenny, Laura, Justin and Garrett Long and all the ranch staff who made us all feel like family. We loved everything about Crossed Sabres Ranch. From the beautiful natural mountain setting, the rustic charm... More

My family of 4 with 16 and 19 year old young men spent 3 incredible days at Crossed Sabres prior to heading into Yellowstone. The Longs take time and thought in pairing up their guest with Wranglers and Fishing guides. I had a bad horse experience 30 years ago that prohibited me from riding with my family. Our Wrangler, Whit,... More

We had a three generation reunion ages 73 to 12. We were amazed that there was something for everyone. Fly fishing, riding and archery being the favorites. Great variety in meals and the Bar-B-Q was outstanding. As a grandparent what I appreciated, if you didn't want to take in a particular activity you could just hang out in the main... More

We spontaneously decided to try a Dude ranch experience on our big family road trip west. Ideally, we wanted to have an authentic experience as well as enjoy Yellowstone with our 4 kids ages 6-14. Because of our lack of planning I was hoping for the best....well, I found the best and more! Crossed Sabres is simply the best The... More

My husband and I recently enjoyed a long weekend at the Crossed Sabres, and would highly recommend it as a great place to explore the rugged scenery and wildlife of Wyoming. This is a genuine family run operation nestled in the crags and valleys of the surrounding mountains. It is far enough away from the highway to feel totally isolated,... More
