We met up with friends from Fort Collins for lunch on our I80 travels through Cheyenne. The restaurant is large, Lisa our waitress, was very friendly. Had my first Bison burger and it rocked! It was winter, so no crowds, but could tell this could be a very busy place come summer.

I traveled alone to the Terry Bison Ranch in August 2014. I flew into Denver and drove north to enjoy the scenery. The views were magnificent. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating - at check in, at the little breakfast cafe and at the burger barn (the bison burger was HUGE and delicious). I had a really nice chat... More

This is a ranch that is vertically integrated with hotel, bunkhouse, horse ride, train ride, restaurant. We only did the train today but will return for a bison steak at the restaurant tonight. The 'train' is one car powered by a car engine and makes a slow circle around to the feedlot and a pasture. And, it is GREAT! We... More

The campsites weren't great, but the whole experience made up for it. We did the train tour through buffalo herd and even ate Bison Burgers at the restaurant, which as delicious. We had a great short stay here (overnight).

For the price of an overnight RV stay, they should have enough funding to catch up on some of the obviously deferred maintenance. This could be described as an iconic "trailer park" and not an RV Resort. Highly overpriced for the condition it is in. It's nice to have the Senator Steak House on premise. Noise from the adjacent interstate... More

After booking our trip I read the reviews, I would differ with a few things, its not as bad as some have said, but thats not under-estimating their opinion of it. The cabin was ok/nice but could use better cleaning. Cob webs, dead bugs on window sill. There are only full size beds when there is room for larger. I'm... More

We accepted the fact that the campground was not the best maintained, and were okay knowing it was close to a major highway. But what was absolutely unacceptable was the loud booming music that started at 10 pm and lasted until 8 am by the Shamonic Boom Fest on the campground.....which we were NOT told about by the ranch staff.... RV park could use some work but adequate for a short stay. This is our 2nd time here when traveling thru area and they do seem to be working on improving the park.Dirt (mud if raining) pull thru sites with full hookups, rough roads but flat and level sites. Water pressure on low side. Good views of the Wyoming prairie.... More

Extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of the restrooms & showers at the campground! These facilities NEED cleaned more than once a day when there is heavy use!!! Not worth the price paid. Not very well laid out!!! EXTREMELY NOISY!!!!

If you're looking for a chain hotel with A/C, pool, wifi, etc., or a spiffy dude ranch, this isn't the place. If you're interested in roughing it (cabin, RV, or tent) and seeing what the Western experience really is, then check this place out. This is a 27,500 acre working bison ranch with over 1000 head of bison. There is... More
