We stayed in our coach a week at Terry Bison Ranch, a definite mistake that will never be repeated. We were placed in Site 81; from our front window we had a lovely view of the dump station and the trash bins. On our driver side we were side by side with another motor home so close we could talk... We were pleasantly surprised. We were guided to Last Chance by the internet. When we stopped there, the showers were available inside only at certain times, no electric (dry camp only) and the rate went to $90 over the weekend. DO NOT GO THERE!!! We then went to Terry Bison Ranch. The people were SUPER friendly, the showers were some... More

They have cabins that have a great view of the ranch the wide open spaces, but they are in need of a rehab. The odor of the room freshener was too much for us. Opening the windows did not even help and the noise from traffic on the nearby interstate highway increased as a result. They were clean and a... More

The rv park is a way off Hwy 25. No trees and lots of gravel. We didn't sit outside, but enjoyed walking around the animal pens. Saw a brand new horse. The food @ the café was great. We had bison chicken friend stks and bison burgers. Didn't take the train ride around the ranch. Seemed pricey when we could... More

Great food . It was our first time eating Bison and it was very good. The staff all over the ranch was super nice. There were lots of things to do right on the ranch for at least 2 days. We took the train ride out to feed the Bison and that was fun. We went fishing in their pond... More

We were on an extended stay at Terry Bison Ranch in our Travel Trailer and in a Cabin, Sept 2012 - June 2013. This is a working ranch and all that implies. There is plenty to see and do. Great adventures include the trail ride on horseback, train ride feeding the Bison and seeing them and the Camels up close... More

Took my 11yo son to the Ranch this past week. This IS the country. Great rustic look and feel. Staff including Josselyn at the trading post and the restaurant staff are friendly and helpful. Took the 2 hour "Breakfast Trail Ride" and let me tell you......STRONGLY recommend this over the one hour ride. Our guide, Preston, was top notch. Pointed... More

I choose Terry Bison because it was late in the season and the state parks in the area we were driving through had closed. The Web said they had water and electric sites and full service. Choose the water and electric to save some money over 4 days. When we got there was told they closed them down and they... More

We stayed a night in Cheyenne as a stopping point on a trip. This was the most affordable (without being unsafe) place we could find. We stayed in a bunkhouse room. It was clean but very, very basic. The bathrooms had a few stalls and a shower with several shower heads (no privacy). I think there were only two rooms... More
