This is an awful hotel. The parking lot should tell you all you need to know - with broken down vehicles and cars that looked as though they had been abandoned for years. The interior was worse. Reception and the 'lounge' when you go in does nothing to restore the spirits. A filthy carpet that needs throwing out in the... More

My son and I stayed here in May when I-80 closed due to a late season snowstorm. When I realized the interstate had closed, I really was just trying to find a spot in town, before things sold out. I think that I overestimated the number of travelers who would be afftected, and I'm sure we could have found somewhere better... More

I have stayed at the Central Plaza a number of times over the past 10 years, including during Frontier Days, and prefer it to the Plains and even the Nagle-Warren Mansion--and not just because it is less expensive. The rooms have always been perfectly clean, nicely furnished with comfortable beds and everything in working order, and the family that runs... More

A friend books rooms in this hotel for Frontier Days. It is on the parade route and has view from access balcony and in the center of town. It is very old (1960 - 1970) and does not appear to have any updates made to it at all. The hotel is owned and run by a family who were friendly... More

Terrible place to stay, too noisy to rest. very old building without update. smelly linen, moldy walls, and moth larvae on the lamp shade...the dirtiest, nastiest, and worst place to stay. Don't waste your money, even a penny on this horrible place. this place should be shut down. very very poor service. needs to learn how to treat the customer... More

Last minute we decided to stay at this hotel. Not the best decision. The owners were nice. Rooms were dirty. Our door did not properly lock. Air conditioner was falling out. Worst part was we paid over $160. This was Cheyenne Frontier Days weekend. Best part, the owners did pick us up from Frontier Park at midnight.

Don't waste your money on this out-dated smelly, dirty place. I didn't think the elevator was going to let me out or even make it off the ground floor. The hallways are smelly and everything just felt and looked dirty including the room. Parking is miserable. I would rather sleep in my car.

I would like to echo the other bad reviews. This hotel is a dump -- rooms are dirty, outdated and in need of being completely remodeled or demolished. The only nice thing about this place is the staff. They are friendly but obviously not skilled in running a hotel. I only gave the hotel a "1" rating for cleanliness because... More

I absolutely cannot see how this place has not been shut down by the city health dept. I appreciate older buildings; this place is "RUN" down. I tried to get out, but they would not allow me to cancel because I had purchased online. And to switch rooms I was going to get charged more per night. I was stuck.... More
