Hotel was nice. Rooms were clean, though obviously not new. Service was great. Nothing fancy, just a comfortable place to get a good nights rest. more

I stayed here and it was one of my worst experiences ever. It was freezing cold and they didn't even plough the parking lot. there was ice about 6 inches thick all over the lot and random drifts of snow where the plough had gone through but didn't do a thorough job at all. it was the most terrible stopover... more

With Motel 6, I expect bare bones but clean. The bathroom was clean but the carpet was dirty in the corners. Also, I do not like the horse blankets Motel 6 insists on putting on the beds; I have suggested they upgrade the blankets to no avail. Re: trains, the very helpful desk clerk said that in Cheyenne most motels... more

This hotel needs an overhaul. The linens were old & outdated, nothing matched and the shower was very small and odd shaped! This was an affordable place to stay, however, I would've had better luck finding a cheaper place if I had just driven into Cheyenne and looked. I decided to book online so that I after another 500 mile... more

You get what you pay for, the old saying goes. That is so true at the Motel 6 in Cheyenne. The train tracks literally sit on top of the motel. The non-smoking rooms have an awful chemical smell to try to disguise cigarette smoke. Reserve a non-smoking room and you'll find an ashtray in the room. When asking the motel... more

The staff at this Motel 6 are exceptionally nice and helpful. The room was smallish but clean, and everything worked. If you are bothered by the noise of passing trains, this is not the motel for you - they pass frequently and are very close to the motel. There is very little grass around the property and quite a few... more

We got exactly what we expected to get with a Motel 6. A clean place to sleep for 1 night. Yes the train is near but we never heard it. Overall the property is in a great location and was very clean. We only wished the air conditioner worked a little bit better. more

We have stayed at this Motel 6 on 2 different occasions and would definitely stay there again. It is clean. The staff is friendly. Once in our room we were never bothered by the trains. As a side note the Luxury Diner at 1401 W. Lincolnway is a unique place to get a very good breakfast at a reasonable price.... more

This was just your standard fare for Motel 6. Nothing extravagant or opulent, just clean beds and a bathroom. As others have said, this motel is located right next to the railroad. Lucky for us only one train passed through and that was in the early evening. So we still managed to get a good night's sleep. One thing that... more

How anyone would put a motel right next to a COAL TRAIN track is beyond me, but they did. Huge, heavy, LONG coal trains rumble by all night long, honking their horns long and loud at intersections before the hotel. Even on the opposite side of the building from the tracks on the bottom floor, I couldn't sleep. I called... more
