The price is right but that's the only positive to this place. The bedding smelled like a locker room, the windows were opaque - and not intentionally so - it's just that they hadn't been cleaned in a very long time, the television was a small old style TV with a limited number of channels, the shower so small you... Booked this hotel during a two week family vacation. It was not only the worst hotel of the trip but also the worst hotel i have ever stayed at. Thank God that we only booked it for one night. The check in process took forever. The hotel was out dated and run down. The rooms were barely cleaned. There were... More

If there are other places to stay, I'd choose them in a heartbeat! My boyfriend and I stayed here after he booked a three night stay online. In the requirements of the room, we wanted a mini fridge. Not too much to ask for in my opinion. However, upon getting there, the original room offered did not have the mini... More

After driving all day from SLC I stopped at Motel 6 in Cheyenne for the night. Motel 6s are very hit or miss and this one is a miss. Overpriced at $64 for 1 person I was further disturbed by the "weekly" aka homeless residents chainsmoking in surrounding rooms and the train blowing its horn what sounded like directly behind... Wife and I recently completed a round-trip (driving) from Dallas to western Wyoming. Left Dallas around midnight on Day 1 of trip and Cheyenne completed our first leg -- needless to say, I was tired! I'd made the reservation at this property a few months earlier. I'd checked other properties and read reviews on each. This property fit our needs... More

I have stayed at a number of Motel 6 hotels while working on the road and this one far from meets the usual standards. All but one that I've stayed at in the past have been just wonderful. First impression should have clued me how bad it would be. This is the Motel 6 that you don't want to leave... More

Clean, safe room. Close to the Interstates and easy to get into downtown. Trains are loud, but this is a train town and I think any hotel along the strip would have train noise. If you are a solid sleeper, this is solid place (but get a room on the upper floor, west side just to be sure). If you're... More

Very simple... no frills. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. No A/C and the room was hot. Their free expanded cable consists of a whole 20 channels... mostly espn and political. And the TV kept shutting itself off. Staff was nice but screwed up my reservations. Between the partiers in the parking lot and the LOUD trains, I didn't get... More

As I have observed previously, accommodation must be judged by the level at which it competes in the market, so I'm judging this against the cheap end motel market in which it competes. It is located in the middle of nowhere, with only a gas station rest stop within walking distance. It is fairly quiet, although it is close to... More
