This was just a stopover on the way to Custer but was pleasantly surprised by the town. Good location right by restaurants and a large shopping mall which we actually walked to. Friendly staff, nice pool, spotless room bedroom and bathroom great shower. No noise at all. Good breakfast, coffee on tap all the time. Highly recommended. more

I stayed at the Fairfield Inn the first week of October 2007. The room was clean and the breakfast [waffles] was good and plenty. The shower was very nice! The negative thing about the place is it is close to the airport and there is quite a bit of noise that comes from there [of course]. The air conditioner in... more

We recently stayed here for 1 night as a stopover between Mt Rushmore and Colorado Springs. There isn't alot to do around the hotel apart from shopping at Frontier Mall (across the road) because it is on the outer edge of town by the airport. There is an Applebees restaurant next door and the food was good and cheap. Our... more

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn-Cheyenne on a Saturday night in mid-July. Rates were around $110, but we used Marriott points for a free stay. The property is off the beaten path, several miles in from the interstate. Several chain restaurants are nearby (Applebee’s, Chili’s, CB Pott’s, and both an Olive Garden and Chipotle were under construction). The hotel is... more

My husband and I stayed here twice - once on our way to Montana for business/leisure travel and then again on the way back through. The price is unbeatable for military/government. The military/government rate was only $60/night - which is why I booked directly through the Fairfield Inn's site. Our room, both times, was nice and clean. I cannot say... more

No problems with our stay here. We were returning home from a road trip from NY to Montana. We wanted to stop in Colorado to see (or say we saw) the Rocky Mts. I thought Cheyenne would be a nice "western" city to visit. A nice clean safe city - but not much different than anything in Central New York.... more

Traveling with my family across the US we stopped at Cheyenne for the night. This was a typical Fairfield Inn...a few years old and clean. The best part of the stop was the restaurant next door (Applebees). Unfortunately, the location was some distance from I80 and as I was navigating to the hotel I passed some newer looking hotels much... more

This Fairfield is very bland compared to new Marriott properties. There aren't any frills or decorative touches, just a basic room. The room was very clean, very comfortable beds, high speed internet, basic continental breakfast. There is nothing bad to say about this property, it was a perfect inexpensive stay. more

Talk about Windy City, Cheyenne is one of the windiest towns I've ever been in and I've been in Chi-town! I stayed at the FairField Inn to build on my Marriott points. I didn't expect much as I thought it was an old hotel that just slapped the name to their building. Boy was I wrong! At check-in I was... more
