My kids stayed here and told me they found a great place that was fairly inexpensive. I had to make the same multiday trip, so took their advice. (Note to self - Never trust your kids opinions!!) I paid about $70 dollars, no charge for my pup, and my visit started off very positive . . . till I got... More

I do not believe that you stayed with us. We are closed for the winter since Nov 1. Our small cabins do have small heaters but any that were open during the colder part of the year (May, Sept and Oct) have gas or electric wall heaters. More

Thanks for a memorable stay on our long trip to Yellowstone. I appreciate all the hard work this FAMILY OWNED business does. Hard working people have made America what it is, I believe in supporting people I can see instead of a company I read about in the paper. If you need exercise, run around the parking lot or down... We have stayed here before, it is a quaint little place, Karen was great. I do like having a separate cabin. It is not fancy but pretty much has what you need, no hairdryer which is not a problem for me. No breakfast which is fine with me, coffee in the office. The only complaint I have is I could... More

I read a review from 'purplemoon4' ... well I can't say more. This is maybe goor for ' construction workers ( no hard feelings, boy's) and for backpackers' but for 2 senior couples, tourists in a great country this is not what we hoped for. After seen 2 of the cabins our decision was unanimous ... let's get further on... More

Didn't want the formula hotels in the strip down the street. This was fair priced, clean and comfortable. Not fancy. Folksy. Good hot shower. Good free coffee. Nice dog. A real place - not a plastic interchange type of place. Won't be for everyone. Not much left to say and trying to reach the review required 200 characters.

My dog Cody and I stayed at this delightful motel on our road trip to Colorado. They offer a number of cabins and a few motel units. We just loved our cabin #7. It was thoughtfully furnished and decorated. A heater was on as we arrived, making us feel welcome. The bed was comfortable, a fridge cooled our road supplies,... More

I had looked up the Blue Gables in the internet. So, I wanted the individual cabins. Cabins were clean, the bathroom was big and the shower was the best. We just loved the owners, Jim really helped up find some great places in the mountains to go to. The property was beautiful, they will make a fire for you each... More

I based our stay on the reviews but found it was not to my liking. It is very primitive. A queen size bed that rolls toward the middle, a bathroom from the 50's if not earlier. No hair dryer, coffee pot, phone, iron or decent bedding. The pillows were as flat as a pancake. Even tho there are curtains on... More

It is very hurtful to see reviews like this. We do not advertise ourselves as a five star hotel and have found that although amenities like hair dryers, phones, coffee pots, etc can enhance a stay, they just add additional cost. We try to offer a different stay for travelers and work hard to maintain a 70 year old property.... More

Quaint old time cabins. Reminded me of Vermont cabins. Karen and Jim were very hospitable. Nice 'cowboy TV' at nite. (Campfire). Priced very reasonably for what you. Excellent selection of lattes expresso etc. or free coffee and muffins in the morning.
