Mountain View Motel and Campground is primarily Cabins with 9-10 RV/camp sites added. This review is focused on the RV sites and not the motel cabins. The RV sites are gravel and level. The Wi-Fi and Cable worked very well and much better than the more expensive campgrounds we’ve stayed. The sewer and electrical hook-ups were not located with seemingly... More

My wife and and I were traveling through Buffalo and needed a place to stay with our two dogs. When booking, the reason we went with Mountain View was because the owner was the most kind and polite on the phone when calling for rates. We booked our room and received a call on our way to town to let... More

i found this place to be so relaxing , my cabin was beautiful and rustic, just what I was looking for. I love the courtyard which is surrounded by trees. Listening to the birds and watching the squirrels play. It was so very relaxing, since I was from L.A, California. I've since moved to buffalo because of my stay at... More

We ride a motorcycle all around the US and enjoy the smaller Motels. Mountain View was not cute, fun or clean! Do not stop, keep on driving ! It is over priced, the outside area is very unkept and hardest bed in the west!

Stayed here after leaving Yellowstone. Rooms are charming and wonderful. Regular strong AC unit, super powerful gas heater. TV and decent cable, awesome decor, laundry on-site, great staff and prices. Only slight complaint was slightly weak shower pressure, but whatever, stay here!

Nice lady running the place. Cabins look to be WW2 era. Could use new furniture. Shower modern, but bath area and door are small. Room needed a few things fixed. Camping on the fringes of the property, and assisted were run down and dirty. Price was good. So cabin itself is fine.

These guys here were really nice. Helped us back in and hook up. However if I had seen the "campground" I would have kept going. We've stayed at the motel before and really liked it. When we saw they had a campground we just stopped because of that. It's really just the side of the motel with hookups. Water and... More

Mountain View Motel has awesome rustic log cabins for a reasonable price. The biggest negative is that the bathroom is kind of micro-sized, but the real log ambiance and wonderful towels make up for it. If you like rustic and are looking for a good value, this is the place for you.

We arrived after dark and rang the bell. No problems with check in. I was thrilled with our little cabin. Plug ins were a little sparse, but everything else was just fine. There was coffee in the courtyard in the morning which we really appreciated. It looks like they need to spruce the outside of the grounds up a bit,... More

This motel is very well ran, Melissa was very kind to me and my spouse from check in to check out. I rarely encounter so much good will and kindness in any of the other hotels I've/we've ever stayed in! Anything we needed: I.E: ice, directions, coffee in the morning, whatever... She was extremely helpful and pleasant. Made us feel... More
