This was at one time a good place to stay. It now has to be in the top 5 of the last places you would ever want to stay. Reservation made weeks in advance and still did not get the site reserved. The woman at the desk was the reason for the word "RUDE". We have small dogs but, could... More

Friendly fast check-in. Very basic park; dirt and gravel parking pads and under the picnic table. Some shade. The rest of the site was dirt with sparse clumps of grass. Generally the park could use some sprucing up and a lot more gravel. Full hook-ups worked well. Spotless 24 hour laundry. A few over the air tv channels. Overpriced for... More

Not pet friendly. Very little grass and per their Pet Policy "Pleas do not walk you pet on camp sites or on common areas anywhere in the Campground - failure to observe this rule will result in your being asked to vacate your space." The do have a small leashless area, but it is small and not a place where... More

Stayed in a cabin for one night, had to have been brand new. Aside from the highway and the barking dogs next door, it was quiet. Couldn't hear anything inside the cabin. Wifi was there but (as normal) slow. The indoor pool was nice and clean, hot tub was broken?/ drained. The staff seemed friendly. No outside fires due to... More

Stayed here on an overnight heading to Mt. Rushmore. Served it's purpose! Lots were gravel. Comfortable setting. There is a train that you can reach out and touch that goes through a couple times a day. Did not hear it at night but could have been our fatigue. Getting in and out were a little tricky. Coming off a busy... More

The staff is very nice, and the sites are very easy to access regardless of your level of expertise pulling or driving a camper or RTV. The bathrooms are nicer than most people's in their homes! They feature an indoor pool that is as nice as any hotel. The two criticisms I have is that everything is gravel. No grass... More

While the lady who took our reservation and assisted us through the first hurdle that is getting to the site, and what seemed to be a success turned into a disaster when my wife and I discovered the dirty gravel patch that is the Bar Nunn/ Casper KOA; and the incredibly rude, unprofessional man married to the hostess of the... I found the hostess very friendly and helpful, recommending a good eating place and giving us directions that were easily followed. Our full hook-up site was very level, easy to get into and use, everything worked, and we were close to everything (the place isn't that big). Yes, there is some road noise (a sort of white noise whine), but... More

KOA Casper is a big gravel parking lot with hardly any grass. It's just off the main road so its a bit loud. Most of the guests were long term residence working in oil and pipeline construction in the area.

Do NOT stay here!! I have never met a ruder group of people who are supposedly in the hospitality industry. They were condescneding, unhelpful, and all around unpleasant. Our site might as well have been on the interstate. There is NO shade anywhere. Unless you enjoy camping in Hell, stay away from this place. When I checked out and kleft... More
