We will always stay at the Alakai; it's affordably priced, spotless, and very friendly. As a bonus, it is practically within walking distance to the new Tanger Outlets. Ask the staff for recommendations on restaurants, attractions etc. more

We stayed here over the weekend in one of the whirlpool suites and loved it. It was just my girlfriend and I and we both enjoyed the fireplace, in room whirlpool, fringe and microwave. We stayed here during peak season and enjoyed the pool and small water parks. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The water parks were very small but enjoyable and safe for the 1-3 year olds traveling with us. The staff were very nice and we thought the prices were great for what the hotel offered. more

I asked the front desk if they had any military rates since I was on my first vacation from Iraq in three years. She said they did not. I arrived at 2am and the check-out time was 10:30am. This was a great place to stay, especially if you have kids. The price is right, our children loved the waterpark as it is perfect for children under 8. The entire hotel, including our room was exceptionally clean. We will definately be back. more

We stayed at the Alakai for 2 nights and found it extremely clean and the people were very nice. We went to Noah's Ark, which was close by and did all of the waterslides and then went back to the motel for a nice swim and a perfect hot tub. The water of both was perfect, hot tub not too... more

We stayed for two nights last weekend. The pools were much smaller than they appear on the website pictures and the water was too cold to be comfortable.
