Stayed by accident...got sick & had car probs & just landed here. The guy downstairs was very helpful trying to get my car fixed, but as it was a Sunday night, it was just cheaper to stay than paying the overtime repair charge. So the front desk guy, and the staff who all spoke Russian, set me up in a top floor room. It was drizzling that night and magical with the bugs and rain... more

saturday march 14 -when we got there.. rooms are very old and musty smell... the man working the front desk was extremely rude and unprofessional... i told him that I had ordered a smoking room .. he then stated that i was a liar and that I was wrong . ... will absolutely never stay here again. more

Dissapointed by 'musty' smell in reception on arrival. Room smelt even worse and carpet was worn & unpleasant to walk on. Balcony was side-on, not front-on facing river. Do not book a balcony room if you have small kids, as the posts were unstable with one swinging loose - small child would easily fall through. Bed sheets were appalling...old worn blanket (I had to go and purchase a duvet from Walmart to make sleeping there... more

Stayed at The Riverwalk in Aug, '07. 4th stay. Had the 2 kids (6 & 5) with me.. Loved the river view w/balcony room. I'm with another reviewer, who said the balcony light coming on in the evening, was a bother. Would have liked to sit on the balcony @ night w/o bugs flying around my head. The Location of this Hotel is great -just a short stroll to downtown. The river view is wonderful. The room itself, well-- we wanted a non- smoking room because I have terrible allergy to smoke. They took out the ashtrays and called it non smoking. My husband and I stayed here in February. We stayed in their executive suite with a king sized bed and huge jacuzzi. We did not use our balcony because it was to cold out! Our stay in this hotel was just okay. The room was a little outdated. Our biggest problem was that you had to walk across the street to go to the outdoor pool, which was shared with the motel across the street. Other than that, the location was great- we could walk to the downtown, and the view of the river was awesome. The deck was nice, too. more
