Wow!!!! In all my travels I have never incountered such an experience as this. We called in advance to reserve a room and found one available. It sounded interesting to say the least. they called it " THE LOGGERS SUITE". We arrived to check in after several attempts at getting to the "resort". The "resort" failed to mention that there was tremendous road work going on and that the road was blocked off. We finally got there and I went in to check in. I have to admit I was impressed with the look of the place. It felt rustic and woodsy. I went to the desk and filled out the paper work. Here is where it went wrong. As I turned to leave I asked for a wake up call at 8am. I was issued a phone to take to my room. I must have had a blank look on my face as the clerk informed me that the rooms do not come with a phone. I left the desk (with phone in hand) and took my wife and daughter to our room.
