2 years ago we stayed at Mt. Olympus in Hotel Rome during their Trick-or-Treat promotion in October. We had nothing short of an excellent experience. We enjoyed it and so did our two kids (ages 2 & 4 at that time). As a matter of fact, we had so much fun that we decided to do it again this year.... More

If I could have given this hotel a "zero star rating" I would have. So they get a one from me.... Let me start out by saying I am usually a very easy person to please. And I have stayed at this resort at least a 7-10 times before so I know what I am getting as far as rooms... More

We stayed in Mt. Olympus Village building 21 which is the old Copa Cabana. The room was large and looked great. Overall very clean. But, Tube TV didn't work, Thermostat on heater was way off, windows were shot, holes in screens, and worst of all I woke up at night to see roaches scattering in the bathroom. What a disappointment.... More

This was our first time staying at MT Olympus, we got a really cheap rate for staying at Hotel Rome (it seems in a very many number of reviews that people booking rooms aren't told that Mt. Olympus has a huge number of buildings at their main property, as well as other buildings off-site) which we knew was the main... More

A few friends and I decided it would be fun to have a weekend getaway so we decided to stay at Mt. Olympus. We had booked a room in the villages, which we thought would be nice. Once we arrived in the dells we saw the village buildings, which are just old revamped motels, not exactly what I was expecting.... More

First of all, there were no drawers. The pictures are deceiving since they only show one side of the room. If you are there to use the water park, plan on having all your wet things dripping all over the room. Towels are stained, the beds are uncomfortable and the bathroom was ridiculously small. I wouldn't stay here ever again.

Wow, this place was bad. First the check-in line was very long. It took about 20 minutes to get through the line. We found out our hotel was about a mile away. A MILE. When we got to our building(17), we felt like we were going to a sketchy hotel in Detroit. The inside of our room was TERRIBLE. The... More

The pools were so dirty I did not allow my children to swim. There were rust stains and chipping paint all over in the water park. I have reported them to the health department. The railings leading up to the highest point of a slide were made of rope, frayed and in disrepair. We tried to enjoy a cocktail to... More

We previously enjoyed a stay at Hotel Rome in the Mt. Olympus Resort, and so booked a 2-night stay here again with our two children. We did not realize until we checked in that our room was in an adjoining hotel, the BlueGreen. We arrived after a long day of driving, and received very confusing instructions from the desk clerk... Mt Olympus has bought out several smaller nearby hotels and boasts of having 1500 rooms. The problem with that is that the water park and parking lot is still the same size as it was when they only had hotel Rome/Treasure Island (as it was called back in the days). We also had to wait almost 20 minutes to check... More
