I loved staying here. The best part is you don't have to pay extra to go to MT. Olympus. The Elevators are small, they can fit only fit a luggage cart and 3 or 4 people. The staff was rude, but a couple of people were nice. When the outdoor water park closes at 7pm, everyone went to the indoor... more

I notice that a lot of the complaining on this site are about the value rooms. The value motel is located behind the Hotel Rome. Spend the extra $20 and stay in the hotel. It is so much more convenient. We had originally booked in the Value motel, but changed after we looked at google map. It is located behind... more

I will advise, if you are a light sleeper this may not be the place for you. I could hear people walking around and in the halls very clearly. One of my daughters asked if it was raining outside... My girls really wanted to stay at the Kalahari, but the $500 price tag was too steep for me. We stayed... more

Stayed at the value motel at Hotel Rome for 2 nights. Yes I was surprised that we were not in the main building but it was OK. Yes the door locked with a key instead of using a key card but we still felt safe. And besides you could park right by your door. Everyone was pleasant. Room was clean,... more

We stayed June 29-July 2... it was cold out.. so we went to the indoor water park, it was OVERLY crowded and not clean. Our hotel room was not clean either and our floors were never swept the entire time we were there, the cleaning service left our door open at one point with their cleaning supplies in our room,... more

I went here with my family, my wife and two daughters 6 and 1. The hotel is fairly large and the rooms were a decent size for the four of us. Our windows over looked the employee parking, no big deal there. The beds did a number on my back after a few hours. I did have a few problems... more

The first impression of this room was great. The bedspreads were stark white and the wood floor was bright. Our room was rather far from the waterpark, but that was probably good. The wood floors, though pretty, became loud when guests checked in above us. The indoor waterpark entertained our 9 year old for two days. We made a few... more

Room was disappointing. Not at all like the photo on the website. They didn't disclose when you booked that the "value" rooms were not in the main hotel. They are in an old motel next door that has supposedly been remodeled. No hair dryer, no table/desk in room, no blankets. The doors had no dead bolt and an actual key... more

Everyone has their own views on anything so instead of writing a story I will give you the pros and cons to make it easy: Pros: Indoor and Outdoor water parks included in the price of the stay. Lots of activities on-site including go-carts and tons of slides. Lots of kiddie play areas for those with small children. Clean and... more

We decided to go in early June before the summer 'rush'. Spent three nights first at the Kalahari and two nights at the Hotel Rome. We loved the Mt. Olympus outdoor waterpark and theme park. It covers a huge area and is a long distance to walk from one end to the other and would be difficult for someone with... more
