I recently stayed at the Polynesian hotel with my girlfriend. The staff was extremely friendly and helpfull when we checked in and inquired about things to do in the area. The room was very clean and neat, as well as large in size. We stayed 2 nights and recieved a free pizza, two free margaritas, and a suvenier mug that... More

Checked in 2-29; the young kid at the front desk wasn't guest friendly. The room was big but could have been a little cleaner. Finally found the hotel policies and info buried in the drawer. My kids loved the pools and the slides. I would enforce the no unsupervised children in the hot tubs, especially the younger ones. The lifeguards,... More

The hotel is OK. It is a little older. The waterpark is perfect for younger children. It has a kiddie pool with slides and swings. The kids can run around because the water is only 12 inches deep. There are two large hot tubs that are both 3 feet deep as well. There are two waterslides that empty into a... More

We visited the Polynesian Water Park Resort for Thanksgiving. We booked two Luxury Suites for 8 of us (4 adults and 4 toddlers). We arrived at noon on the day we checked in and our rooms were ready. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The king beds were great, but of course the pull out couches were not. There were... More

After reading recent posts, I'm very sorry I didn't do this sooner! I'm a discriminating grandma who was very pleased with our mid-Aug. 2-night stay at the Polynesian Resort with our 2 grandsons, 10 & 12. The room was very large, clean, the beds comfortable & close to all attractions. The boys had a wonderful time in the indoor &... More

My family stayed at the Polynesian just last night. It was a bad experience. The rooms are in need of a remodel... curtains falling off, wallpaper peeling off, etc. The hotel advertises "free wireless internet", however, there is only internet access in the lobby, so you can't access it from your room. The worst part, however, are the beds. They... More

My family of 4 stayed at this hotel over Labor Day weekend. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The pools were ideal for 6 and under. Some of their baby jumper swings were broken in the indoor water park area. The hotel room was large. We had an extended double queen. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The hotel... More

Stayed 8/30 & 8/31 just before the Labor Day weekend. Hotel is easy to find. The lobby is dated and somewhat smelly. The lobby bathrooms could use a makeover and a good cleaning. Our double queen room was mostly clean, there were some crumbs on the carpet. The bathroom and sink were clean. Room was cleaned well after our first... More

We stayed at the Polynesian resort (not Isles) with our 7-year old and had a great time. Since we were there at the end of August, it was a little chilly, and not crowded. I can imagine how rough it would be during peak periods, though. The hotel is well located close to the fwy, and not to far from... More
