My son and I were traveling to Whitehall for the first time to attend a funeral. Being unfamiliar with the area, I did an online search for a place to stay. The only facility in Whitehall is this Bed & Breakfast. I assumed it would be too expensive, so I searched for nearby hotels. Every place else was farther away... More

I was skeptical about this Inn as it was the only place to stay in Whitehall, but I was pleasantly surprised! The grounds were gorgeous with huge trees, gardens, and sitting areas. The rooms were comfortable and quaint. The communal family style breakfast had a wonderful variety of choices and the owners went out of their way to provide gluten-free... More

When we went on a weekend cycling vacation on the absolutely beautiful roads of Trempealeau County, we stayed at the Oak Park Inn. The innkeepers treated us like family. They were the nicest people -- we're talking genuine Midwestern kindness. They helped us with a 60-mile course, giving us invaluable advice about the route before we left, and told us... More

As a cyclist, I appreciated the extra convenience of having a basic shower in a bikers' room at the end of their shop. Who wants to ride home all sweaty? The setting is fabulous -- a true oasis with comfortable, inviting outdoor seating and gardens -- perfect for reading or enjoying a glass of wine. Linda's continental breakfast with fruit... More

If you're planning a stay in this neck of the woods, you won't regret a stay at the Oak Park Inn. It boasts clean, beautifully decorated rooms with comfortable beds. You'll enjoy a delicious breakfast accompanied by great conversation with the owners, who will be happy to tell you all about the area and as it's history. It is obvious... More

Thank you for the kind words and great review. We like to think we specialize in taking care of family and friends that come to visit relatives in our area. Your parents are very special to us, and their children and grandchildren reflect their kindness. More

We had a delightful stay at the Oak Park Inn Bed and Breakfast. The rooms were nicely decorated along with being very neat and clean. Excellent beds too! The breakfast was a bounty of great choices! We loved the estate feel of the grounds and the warm friendliness of Linda and Steve. Steve’s resourceful repair of one of our bikes... More

Stayed one night in carriage house 1. The room was nice and very clean. I liked the personal touches and Fall decor. I was sold when I saw the Yankee candle and my 2 favorite magazines ( current issues). The price was right so can't complain about the continental breakfast instead of a sit down full breakfast that you get... More

Thank you for your great recommendation to our inn, we are glad to hear how you appreciated the small seasonal touches in the room. The candle, magazine, and decorations are all things I enjoy about the fall season, they make me feel at home and comfortable. Sorry again about the noisy neighbors, we pride ourselves on the peaceful quiet surroundings... More

The Oak Park Inn is without competition when visiting Whitehall. It's clean, it's simple, it's friendly, and the owners go out of their way to make you feel at home. A wholesome breakfast, some advice on the many cycling routes of Trempealeau County, even a brief history lesson on the Amish, and we were off for a weekend of outstanding... More

I've been here twice for business in the last month. Picture a minature of Mr. Vernon. It is a beautiful setting with gardens, water falls, a veranda connecting the main digs and the old carriage house. There is a multi-unit motel as well as a carriage house converted to 3 rooms/suites. Beds are huge and soft, and if you are... More
