We spent a wonderful get-away weekend at the Westby House. We came from Milwaukee to enjoy the fall "color" in Western Wisconsin. What we found was a gem in this B&B. Great location for traveling the backroads and Great River Road. Terrific inn owners who were friendly and offered great suggestions of things to explore. What a wonderful Victorian B and B. The level of cleanliness was absolutely wonderful. I having been a maid in hotels in my life know when things are cleaned in haste and this was not this was cleaned very in a very detailed way...the bathroom had these really cool full containers of organic herbal products which she sells and you... more

Westby House is a gem! The house is beautiful and is lovingly cared for. The rooms are period styled and VERY comfortable and soooo clean! The ambiance is so inviting and comfy. Mike and Marie are very gracious hosts too...and the breakfasts are to die for. Mmmm, still thinking of the yummy warm scones! I highly recommend a stay here.... more

This was one of the best run B&B's we have stayed at. The attention to detail was really nice. It was nice to have a loiunge area right in the room, we really felt at home. more

We have chosen Westby House Victorian Inn after several searches for nice and romantic place within 30 miles from La Crosse, WI First of all their website was quite helpful and provided with lots of information as well and nice pictures. We stayed in the Rose room which had a beautiful brass bed with porcelain rose finials and great furnishings, and a walk in shower. Can't say enough about the place. Will reccomend to others. more
