An overnight stay in Wausau became our destination while on a mini vacation! We had stopped at a chain hotel in Wasau and wanted a quieter part of town where we could ride our bikes. Called the everest Inn and immediately knew we had found our place to stay sight unseen! Lori's funn attitudetold us we were in for an... More

I appreciated how the hosts, Dave and Lori, opened their home and treated their guests like friends. We had great conversation in the evening and around the breakfast table. It was a treat to stay in one of the many historic homes in the area. Everest Inn in located in a beautiful neighborhood, walking distance to many locations.

We stayed for two days at Everest Inn in the basement Yawkey Suite. It was perfect for my family of four. Lori and David were very helpful in planning our family adventures during our stay. They told us about many parks, the art museum, an automated dairy barn, a really good pizza joint and they pulled out maps, addresses, visitor... More

we come to the Wausau area at least once a year for a conference. This year there was " no room at the Inn" my staff usually stays, so we needed to find another option close to our conference location. We stumbled across the Everest Inn. David and Lori are born hosts! Freshly baked cookies, fresh coffee and tea offered... More

A beautiful B&B owned by friendly inn keepers. I stayed overnight in the Farrel room and it was a comfortable and homey room! Everything in the home is well kept and clean. The home cooked breakfast was delicious and filled with great conversation. Sunday evening I took a short walk to a small Mexican restaurant that was delicious and authentic.... More

I and my wife stayed at the Everest Inn one night on our way to Door County. We really enjoyed our visit and wished it could have been longer. Our room was large, quiet and clean, and was tastefully decorated. (Some Victorian B&Bs cram too many things into the room - this was spacious and well done). We had good... More

We have stayed here three times in the last few years. The place is elegant, historic and very comfortable. Dave and Lori are great folks. Staying there is like staying at a good friend's house. They make you feel welcomed and do all they can to make your stay enjoyable. First thing Lori will ask you is your dietary preferences;... More

I stayed here for work (July 23-25, 2013) and had the most enjoyable time. Dave and Lori were very knowledgeable and helpful on where to go/what to do during my free time. The inn is very nice - clean and quiet. It is within walking distance to downtown and in a great walk around neighborhood with beautiful old houses. Don't... More

The Everest Inn is a lovely B&B close to the downtown district of Wausau, Wisconsin and is a lovely turn of the century home chock full of antiques and memorabilia from days gone by. It’s a warm, friendly place where the front door is always open but guests just seem to want to use the back door which leads directly... More

Very cute and comfy place. Tasty breakfast. Hosts Dave and Lori make you feel at home and have lots of information on local sights and history. Very convenient location, just a couple of blocks to the historic downtown Wausau, museums, city hall, the theatre, excellent restaurants and a micro-brewery.
