The Rib Mountain Inn was everything we could have wanted for a quiet getaway. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. They were happy to stop by our room and show us how to use our wood-burning fireplace (yes, a REAL fireplace!), and even brought us more firewood. We enjoyed a weekend in one of the 3bdrm townhouses with jacuzzi. It was very comfortable and had all the essentials, including the coffee maker w/coffee cream sugar etc. Definate plus! Stayed for fall colors, what a beautiful place. The staff was great made us feel at home. Pillow top matresses felt as good as my own bed. Fresh eggs and pancakes for breakfast what a treat!! For a fall getaway couldn't have found a nicer place. Check out these pics! more

We stayed at Rib Mountain Inn, which is located in a residential neighborhood at the base of Granite Peak. You can literally walk from Rib Mountain to Granite Peak ski resort, although it would be a very long walk and we never tried it ourselves. We saw others who did and lived to talk about it.
