This by far is my most favorite place for our small quint Christmas party. Michael the chef is AMAZING! Barbara too goes over and beyond. They make us feel so at home giving outstanding service. I will look forward to bringing some family members next. THANK YOU!

We've been eating dinner when in Rural, WI at the Secret Garden Cafe in the Green Fountain Inn in Waupaca for the past 3 or 4 years. It's a smallish and quiet place decorated with antique artifacts and serving pieces. The menu usually has 4 or 5 entrees, beef, chicken, pork, fish, purchased from local suppliers when at all possible.... More

I loved the quaint rooms and the absolute top notch cuisine...truly a five star restaurant! I stayed for my birthday and we were not only given the best food we have ever tasted, but they made our experience unforgettable with their generous and impressive hospitality! A cozy, warm, and homey yet exquisite gourmet experience.

Love this place! First time at a Bed & Breakfast. We absolutely loved it and plan on coming again. All the staff were wonderful. The owner, Cindy, is a very caring and sweet individual and we enjoyed having a great conversation with her on the morning we left. Oh....very neat and clean; just had breakfast there, great food. Wish we... More

The salmon cakes were some of the best I have ever had. The soup was wonderful as well. Unique menu so glad we went there. Wish they were open for dinner more often especially during the summer. Make sure you go when you have time to relax as it is not a quick in and out place but a place... More

We were able to get a room in this elegant Victorian B&B on Memorial Day when we suddenly realized that we weren't ready to travel home after a busy annual gathering in a place near Waupaca. The owner was an hour out of town when we called and traveled back right away to give us a room and a key.... More

My friend and I attended the IOLA old car show every year. Normally we stay at a hotel in Stevens Point and drive the 25 miles to the show and back. A neighbor stayed at the Green Fountain Inn and highly recommended it pointing out that Waupaca was only half the driving distance to Iola. The place exceeded our expectations;... More

This B&B definitely needed some upgrading. The front yard is messy with all the weeds hanging on to the railings of the porch, the porch floor is starting to rot and the steps to the front porch is crumbling. Also we noticed that the place needed some cleaning because the couch on the porch is dusty and full of spider... More

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner, a camera and our B&B hostess. Despite being 'first-time actors,' were invited to participate in a casual video for the "check-in" scene. Aside from the unexpected welcome, we were delighted with the ambiance of the place. The decor was consistent with daintily painted vases, elegant drapery, a well-positioned baby grand and flashback... More

My husband and I won a public television auction for a two night stay at the Green Fountain Inn. Neither my husband nor I had ever stayed at a B&B so we weren't sure what to expect. What a treat the Green Fountain Inn was--we absolutely loved it! Because the busy season hasn't quite started yet, we had the run... More
