The hotel looks pretty nice from the outside but once you get in there it is not so nice.... The place was not very clean at all.....the main lobby smelled almost like urine or something. What a pit of a hotel! I was traveling on business with my company and we were originally booked at the Homestead Suites hotel in Brookfield, however once we got there they bumped us from that hotel to their sister hotel (as they had overbooked their hotel), which happened to be the Extended Stay Hotel in Waukesha. We stayed here for two weeks this October and didn't rent a car. The hotel is close to freeways but has good public transport right on the doorstep. Various restaurants within walking distance, 'tho this doesn't seem to be considered normal behaviour in this particular part of the US!
